Friday Flashback - Christmas 2006.

When my computer crashed earlier this year I lost my Christmas email cards list. I have hopefully got most friends back on it, but if you haven't received my card please take it from beneath my header. Could you also let me know in a comment so I can make sure you go back on my list.

This week the flashback goes right back to Christmas 2006. When I do my flashbacks I usually copy and paste the HTML code, but because this post was from our old blog and using the original blogger it wouldn't transfer properly so I had to find the original photos and redo the post. While I was doing that I changed the dialogue from Cat Speak (similar to Trout Towne language) to English.
You can see the original post if you want to here

Flynn: Mum took so long this year getting the tree ready we had to help her put it up. I'm just looking in the box to make sure it's all there.

Eric: I'll just have a look and make sure the lights are in there.

Flynn: While you are doing that Eric, I'll put the bitey on it.

Well I've done that, so now I'll make sure everything is in the box.

Oh no where did Eric go?

Flynn: Well now the tree is up and all decorated so I'd better check it looks right.

Now how did that happen? It just fell off on it's own so I might as well put the bitey on that too.

Flynn:  Eric's disappeared again.
Eric:  No I haven't, I'm just guarding the tree.
Happy Christmas to all our kitty friends and their Beans from us and our Beans.

I have used the first photo for my Caturday Art.

I started with Smoke at 35%, then Gauguin at 50% and finished with Red Blush at 40%.
You can see more Caturday Art by visiting Athena, The Cat Goddess.

Of course there is also a puzzle. Click the small picture to do it on Jigsaw Planet.

  8. What a wonderful flashback to Christmas with the ginger boys helping to get that Christmas tree "up and running" ! I love the photo with Eric hiding out in the tree box....it's always wonderful to see these guys but Christmas makes us reflect on "happy times of the past". We like that! We also hope you and Ivor have a beautiful Christmas full of happy memories and make more of them for the future too!

Love and Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  12. Two Gingers sure did know how to have fun. I love your flashbacks.
Collards are in the kale family; however, the leaves are flat w/o any crinkles and very very easy to clean.
