Another year has passed and it is now six years since you had to leave us.
Nothing changes, we miss you as much today as we ever did and we always will do.
You loved your walks around the fields stopping to check everything on the way.
Then coming back to sit outside just enjoying the sun and fresh air.
We will never forget you and your brother, Flynn.
We hope you are romping happily together at the Bridge with all those friends who have joined you there.
Love you forever, darling boy.
We miss Eric too :(
ReplyDeleteEven though it is part of the life cycle it does not mean we have to like it.
Hope you are living a grand life at the Bridge.
See you someday.
Hugs and purrs to your folks.

Time passes so quickly....they're just as alive in our hearts NOW as they were when they were still with us. Eric and Flynn both had the BEST life with you and Ivor - I know they continue to run through fields of green at the Bridge...and maybe - just maybe - Sammy catches up to them once in a while for a good run!

It does't matter how long you are on Earth. It still isn't long enough. But what an honor that your memory lingers still to bring joy to so many. Purrs and hugs to your meowmy.
ReplyDeleteHe was a beautiful cat, and you can see his personality shining. It's hard that they have to leave us so soon (I miss my Marmalade too) but I bet he's gamboling and exploring on the other side of the rainbow. Maybe he'll meet up with my cat over there.
ReplyDeleteLove forever, of course, Eric and all your friends at the Bridge !
ReplyDeleteSending you lots of hugs as you remember Eric. We wish we were blogging back then so we could have gotten to know him.
ReplyDeleteI am very very new to this blog. Your photos show a happy well-cared for animal. I am sure he had a wonderful life with you. I especially like the photo of Eric in the field. He looks so content and inquisitive. I was pleasantly surprised to find my cat Marigold in your Rainbow Friends page. Thank you. We are following you now--better late than never!
