This week the Flashback comes from March 2013.
It is a sad one for us because it was the last proper post with Eric. Three days later he had made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge.
I am not sure what the Flashbacks will be in future, maybe a collection of photos or going back to some of the early posts.
I have kept this blog going in memory of Eric and Flynn and intend to continue to do so.
The Hay Barn.
The sun was shining and we were out for a walk with mum. Suddenly it started to hail so mum told us to shelter in the hay barn.
Eric: I think I want to get up higher. Mum says I look like a Cyclops with my one very bright laser shining.
You will have to be quicker than that mum if you want to get a shot of me jumping up.
I think I may have a nap up here.
Or I may go higher still.
Flynn: Well I am not coming up because you will only change your mind and come back down again.
Eric: No I won't, I am nice and comfy here.
Flynn: See, I told you so!
Then the hail stopped so we went back out. I had all bits of straw in my fur, and mum had to brush it off with her hand because it was tickling me.

I'm so glad you're sharing old posts and I hope you do go back into the archives and share more. Every Thursday I do throwback thursday posts of Abby. It's important to me to share these photos again and just keep sharing her if only for myself. Because I promised as long as I'm alive I'll keep her memory alive too. So I do understand. You can also share photos you have published too. I have thousands of photos of Abby, some not so good because of having a bad camera or just bad angle but each of them no matter how blurry or poorly framed means the world to me because I can't get anymore. Love your artwork!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my handsome Ginger-men...I love the hay barn episode.
ReplyDeleteand especially the Artsy pic your ginger color is 10x's
more ginger.
Hugs Cecilia
Sleeping in straw is warm but i am sure it was scratchy and tickly, too. There must have been adventures in the barn sometimes, right?
