Friday Flashback and Caturday Art

The Friday Flashback comes from November 2009. Once again Eric has the main post but Flynn gets a one photo post.

Introoders with Eric

I am watching furry keerfully out of the window because I can see an introoder. Can yoo see it by the right side of my ear?

It's a squirrel and it's eating all the nuts and seeds that the birds haf dropped.

Oh no! look there's two of them now. I wish I could git at them.See that white blob in the middle of the pikchur? It's where a dirty birdie pooped on the window.

Goodbye Mr. Squirrel,I hope yoo come back when I'm outdoors.

And an Easy Like Sunday with Flynn

It's pouring with rain and blowing a hoolie. Eric is hogging the fire, and I am going to nap the day away on my ham-mick with my nip pad and nippy mousie. I think I am going to have sweet dreams.

I am joining Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.

For Eric I started with Landscape at 65%, then Illusion at 50%.

For Flynn I used Frida at 50%, then Rusty at 40%
The AI Art I entered Cat on a wall in the text box.

  2. Pesky things, squirrels, but fun to watch and i'm sure, fun to catch.

    A nap sounds great.

  3. That squirrel knew you were there. If not he would have eaten the entire garden.

  4. Oh, Flynn, your snoozing pic is absolutely precious. And Eric, you are precious too, keeping introoders at bay even though you're inside and they're outside. We have lots of squirrels here too, many babies now. I know they can be destructive, but I enjoy watching them scamper along the fence-lines and in the trees. I put seed out for the birds, but the squirrels eat some too. Mom's catwork is so pretty. I hope Mom and Dad are doing well. Until next week...Jean

  5. It's as ell that Eric wasn't outside; I wouldn't want those squirrels to suffer the fact of the farm's mice! And Flynn had the right idea on a blustery, wet day...

  6. Squirrels can be such pests, but they make great kitty TV. As for Flynn, he definitely had the right idea about how to spend a dreary day. 🙂

  9. I bet when you're outside those two squirrels would never have come out again. Great hunters are very good at chasing off these kind of pests. We have too many here and would like to just chase them away for a while.

  10. Good thing for Mr. Squirrel that Flynn was inside. Made for fun cat TV though!

  12. Angel Eric those introoders were very cheeky here. They would see Angel Madi sitting on the rug at the back door. the would come up and taunt her. You know what she did gave them her back of disrespect. Madi's theory was if she could not see them they were not there.
    I loved this flashback

  13. Mom is particularly mad with squirrels right now. Last year AND this year they are drinking the hummingbird's nectar and making a mess besides of black stained sticky oak decking.

  14. MOL about the "dirty birdie" pooping on the window! xoxo

  16. It's a very interesting take on Eric's world. I love the shot with just his ear, and a view of what's beyond. The colours in Eric's art piece are quite striking. So are Flynn's, but they are somewhat lighter in effect. Such a cute boy napping with his treasures.
Of course the squirrels must get their due, not to mention the bird poop. Artsy-fartsy, I say.

  18. That's a new one on me: blowing a hoolie! I love it!
Squirrels can be cheeky, but in general, they are cute and harmless.
Lovely art, and I'll puzzle very soon...thank you.

  19. My cats would go crazy if they saw a squirrel, which is not likely because we live in a third floor condo. They go crazy over the tiniest bugs on the window, though! :-)

  20. That was a fun flashback, and an especially lucky squirrel. We loved the shot of Flynn on his ham-mick. XO

  25. Hello, friends! Blowing a hoolie! Our mom learned a new British expression. Flynn had very interesting introoders that day, and Eric looks cozy by the fire.

  29. It's so tempting to see those squirrels out the window! Oooh we remember the hammick. We had one of them but lost it somehow in the big move.

  30. Us pups chase the squirrels out of our yard, too...they steal birdfood right out of the feeders sometimes...at least if they can get up thewre.

    Lovely art too!

That AI kitty isn't too bad looking...
