This week the flashback comes from November 2009 and is called:
Strange Smells.
Mmmm what's this? I smell sumfing unyooshull. There must haf been an introoder around in the night.
Go away Eric, I got here furrst, and I'm going to put my smell on the wall, not yoo.
Well all rite yoo can stay, but don't git in my way. Smelling strange smells is furry impawtunt.
That's ok Flynn, yoo keep sniffing up there, it smells much better down here.
Yer looking all silly Eric, yoo look like yoo've been on the nip.
Whoaaaa here's the best bit. Wonder who it wuz that's been introoding.
At last!! Eric's gone and now I haf the smells all to myself.
This smells so good I would git rite in the wall if I could. It's neerly as good as nip. Not quite, but neerly.
Note: That wall has gone now. Dad took it down when he put our purrison fence up. We weren't very happy about the fence at first, but now we like it cuz it means we can stay out in the garden all the time if we want to.

I also have an AI Art. This was one of the earlier ones that did not turn out at all as expected, but there is something about it I like.
I put in cat with mouse but didn't expect the cat to be wearing clothes, and I haven't a clue what he is holding but it doesn't look like a mouse!

I am also joining MessyMimi for the blog hop.
Some rodent was hanging out on that rock wall, Angel Fellas.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your AI art and puzzle, and have giggled at your meerkat impressions!
That was sure a lot of serious sniff testing and the art is fun too!
ReplyDeleteWe unnerstand what they meant, TBT can tell when some varmint was up on our deck the night before. We go all sniffy. And sometimes cautious. There are a couple of critters we know only by smell. And TBT says we should probably keep it that way. He mentions "raccoons" and "skunks" and there is a danger point in his voice about whatever those are.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a good smell
ReplyDeletewas it a mouse smell? or more a lizard smell? we love the smells in ole walls too... mostly it is mouse, right?
ReplyDeletePurrsonally I think that Stonewall look like a terrific place to go smell things. I'm jealous of you guys have had that.
ReplyDeleteThey made such a good team. Oranges are the best!
ReplyDeleteThat AI image was so unexpected.
xxoo
Maggie
Did you ever identify the introoder? 🙂
ReplyDeleteThese two boys always had an interesting story to tell ... and are quite amusing when doing so.
ReplyDeleteThat AI image blew me away, but it's nothing compared to seeing the furry duo exploring like they always wanted to do. Purrs.
ReplyDelete~Tom
Jackie what a fun x 100 post. Hilarious Eric and Flynn one upping each other. I bet the critter in the wall was on high alert.
ReplyDeleteI love the AI
Hugs Cecilia
love this flashback. I hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteNow they made me laugh with all the sniffing they were very determined heheh!:-)
ReplyDeleteThat art was fun heheh!
Have a sniffsnifftastic weekend 👍
Strange smells are always popping up at my house. What momma hates is when she doesn't smell it, but one of us kitties do. She always thanks us for alerting her to a problem, but also wonders who was the culprit who created the smell to begin with. Thankfully there are so many of us, the culprit never gets outted.
ReplyDeleteThat wall looked really, really interesting!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
depending on where you live it could have been a coyote, a racoon or perhaps another cat! Darling photos!
ReplyDeleteWe always love seeing the boys together.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words about the loss of our sweet ManCat Raz. We miss him terribly.
The Florida Furkids and Mom Sharon
That must have been one interesting smell!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute sequence of photos. Love the art too.
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun flashback. I expected Eric to pee on the wall though. :) I love both of your works of art. Thank you for the puzzles. XO
ReplyDeleteThose boys had such fun adventures!
ReplyDeleteSmelling for introoders and keeping track of them is very impawtant, i'm glad you two always did such a fine job.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining Feline Friday!
I really love that entire sequence of photos. It's hilarious! And your art is warm and lovely, as always. The effect has made it look more like a painting, and it really makes the pattern in each boy's coat stand out. Ginger and white -- just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe AI art is interesting, but it looks more like something that would be used in a kids' movie. I don't think it's intended to make a true-to-life image. It sure is fun to look at, though.
Such an interesting flashback, it's so nice when we have something interesting to smell.
ReplyDeleteyoo two r great detectives
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely series of photographs, Mum Jackie. We love remembering how the boys were such intrepid explorers.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I wonder what the boys were smelling?
ReplyDeleteWas it mousies or birdies?
ReplyDeleteLovely art as always.
I absolutely love this series of photos with the boys trying to figure out who or what had invade their space. I always enjoy your art and puzzles. The AI creation is very interesting. I have not tried using AI yet. Have a nice and easy Sunday. ReplyDeleteWe love the colors in the boys' artified photo, and that AI cat sure is interesting!
ReplyDeleteWe are wondering - did the boys effur discover the identity of the Intruder?
ReplyDeleteWe love this week's art. The AI art made Mummy giggle.
The boys were always on patrol and always investigated thoroughly!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if there were any mousies in the wall before their Daddy took it down?
ReplyDeleteNothing gets unnoticed with your super superior nosies, Eric and Flynn! Our homeless kitties are on the job here too and while we keep them fed and watered, they still do like hunting. Turkey mamas are bringing their babies up from the creek, but kitties leave them alone. Mom's catwork is pretty. Hope Mom and Dad are doing well. Until next time...Jean
ReplyDeleteLooked like a lovely wall to us, but it is nice with a new fence to have been able to stay out in the garden.
ReplyDeletedoodz....we hope ta cod ther waz knot a bass terd fez ant in ther....ore stooooopid chippee ore squirrelz....thiz weekz art peace....de kitteh lookz kinda like de pole lease ore a spiez ore sum thin ~~~ YEOW !!! ♥
ReplyDeleteThose white spots on Eric and Flynn's backs get me every time!
ReplyDeleteWere there mice in the wall, or purrhaps the beginnings of some catnip plants?! We adore seeing your adventures, it really makes us smile!
