Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

Firstly, thank you to everybody for your kind comments, prayers and support. I decided to go with the chemo and rang my support nurse last Friday. She said she would tell my oncologist and either he or his secretary would ring with a start date. She said it would most likely be within 2 weeks.

This post originally came from June 2009 and was a Doppelganger meme. It was started by Milo and Alfie, and Ferris from the Creek Cats had me as his doppelganger.

We thought we should start with me and Ferris to show how alike we are.

Flynn
Ferris, The Creek Cats.

Then we found an old scanned photo of us with our sweet Kitty Yumbum.

Don't you think the three of us look like Grace, Audace and Ruse?

This is another scanned photo when we were two or three years old.

We don't know who these two cats are, but Gandalf and Grayson had seen them and told us about them.

Eric: I think Sunny and I look very alike too.
Sunny
Flynn
Audace again.
Flynn.

William's brother Russell. Mum nearly put me and Russell the wrong way around. Silly mum.
If anyone else wants to join in, we look forward to seeing your Doppelgangers.

I am joining  Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.

I used Beauty at 50%, then Grey at 40%.

Illusion first at 45%, then Lily at 40%.

  2. What fun! Those are great pictures.

We have a Doppelganger, too, our Link Linker the Stinker looks a lot like Ms. Ellen's Brody at 15 And Meowing.

Thank you for linking the whole gang up with Feline Friday!

  4. Dearest Jackie,
You are brave for going with the chemo and soon you will start doing so.
No doubt, with lots of virtual love and prayers you will manage!
Your two Angel boys also will help you through.
What lovely memories those scanned photos are. You have done exactly what I've done, digitalized our slides, photos and also did scan some photos.
Amazing how cute Flynn sat upright like a cat–human!
Was Kitty Yumbum another sibling? Such sweet photo.
Eric also is sitting upright like a human.
    Big all around hugs,
    Mariette + Kitties

Nice to see all the doppelgangers!
I need to scan the non digital pics of so many things from before we had digital cameras. It would be a full time job for a good while, phew!!

  7. Though these are all fabulous photos, dad is gaga over the artified trio. He mumbled through his coffee something about beautiful stark coloring, etc., etc. Fantastic Flashback, and our best to you, dear brave Jackie.

  8. What a beautiful pile of ginger sweeties! As I've mentioned, Ted sits upright frequently and we can't help but laugh - he does his tummy grooming in that position but then stays like that for several minutes after (giving us time to enjoy the pose). Love all the photos - just precious. We will be praying every minute of your treatment and we KNOW treatments can work so that's going to be our "mantra" for you....! Sending you tons of hugs.

    Love, Pam and Teddy too

  14. Good Heavens, thank goodness personalities are different in each case, otherwise a human might get mixed up! And good luck with the chemo-therapy, Jackie. I know it will work well for you.

  29. It can be very confusing as you all look rather similar to identify who is who!

  30. OMC they're really some look-a-likes...all of them, sweet Angels. We think that's really cute😻 Granny sees a lot of me, Peachy in Big Binky, and Stippie in Little Binky, not that we're so much look-a-likes, but we do exactly the same in behavior😸😸Healing Pawkisses continue for you effurry day, Jackie and for Ivor too🙏 🐾😽💞
