First of all for anyone who hasn't seen my update on my other blog I have copy and pasted it here as the first paragraph..
I rarely put updates on this blog but want to share my good news with everybody. I had a CT scan two weeks ago and went for my consultation on Monday. I have had six months of chemotherapy which has not been easy, but I got there. The results of my scan are that the original cancer lesions on my bowel have shrunk, very small and hard to see. The newest lesions which had spread to my liver are now dormant! I will go onto hormone tablets to try and keep them like that, but don't start until the New Year to give my body chance to recover. It is the best Christmas present I could have hoped for and I want to tell the world!!
I hope I didn't miss anyone out, but I said thanks at the time for all the lovely cards and good wishes. If I did miss anyone I apologise. It was support from so many friends that helped me and Ivor get through this, and all the prayers have worked. Thanks in particular to Ann at Zoolatry and Cecilia at My Mind's Eye for organising the card shower. At the last count I had exactly 90 cards, and thank you all once again for all the support.
This week the flashback comes from October 2010, and was a Miscellaneous Mancat Monday.
Eric: It is a bit of a mish mash today and first we have me with the flower.Flynn: Now I will show you how to pose properly Eric.
Eric: Helping dad dig out his trench.
Eric: Hey! Watch where you are peeing Flynn!
Flynn - Camouflage Cat.
Eric: I love our new drinking fountain and like to play with it too. If you turn your sound on you will hear mum yell at me. Flynn likes to drink from the stream but doesn't play with it.

It looks like mum had to do some serious mopping when the fountain got used. Funny except the cleanup. This is great news for you on your health Jackie. I'm so glad that things are shaping up and Christmas is coming and it is a gift of life.

ReplyDeleteJackie, Yippee! This is absolutely the best news, and as you said, the best Christmas gift. Speaking of Christmas, your card arrived here on Thursday. Thank you so very much. I have just ordered cards, so it could be after the new year when it gets to the U.K. Your art was as amazing as always, and I look forward to doing the puzzles. Again, congratulations on the super great news. Continuing to send love and prayers, Janet & Kitties Blue

ReplyDeleteLovely flashback, and wow, Eric sure was naughty with that fountain, LOL!
Our angel Pipo would dip his paw in the water and then drink from it, but at least he didn't try to paw the water out of it.
Always good to see your boys. And that's great news about your latest scan! More purrs and prayers that you continue to do well coming your way.
