Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.
Two short posts this week, both from January 2011.
Eric: Thirsty Thursday.
Our very favourite place to drink is from this big dish. It is really a spare litterbox that doesn't get used. It stays outdoors and catches all the rainwater, and since this photo was taken, with all the rain we have had, the water is now only an inch from the top.
I like to stand with my front feet in the water when I drink and sometimes have all four feet in the water. It is something I have done ever since I was a little kitten.
Flynn: Tummy Tuesday
I am waiting for tummy tickles and snorgles.
Aww go on, you know you want to, and if you do........
I will do curly toes for you.

That was a unique water bowl, and a unique drinking style too.
Our 'O' Cats had fresh water every day, yet often drank from a shallow pothole in the backyard after a rain.

Cats do like water, as long as it is their own choice and they get to decide how to get in it and how wet to get.

What adorable photos of the boys. Curly toes - sometimes I walk by Ted when he's napping and his toes are curled up - it's adorable isn't it! That rainwater container for outside drinks is a GREAT idea. Ted likes to drink from puddles. Thanks for sharing those precious boys photos with us because we still miss them terribly and it's great to see them again.

Eric, what clean tootsies you woulda had then. I love to drink out of anything different from the last drink, ya know what I mean. and Flynn, you made it too easy fur yer mum and dad to git in the tummy smooches.
Such fun to see the little things that make each kitty so special unto themselves ... purrfect little beings, every one like no other. Loved 'em both, miss them both, and thankful you keep sharing them with us.

Eric was so funny. Our Chloe used to stand on any plate or bowl she was eating from. Flynn was absolutely precious sharing his belly. Thank you so much for the puzzles. What sweet memories today of Angels Eric and Flynn. We love seeing how Eric would put his paws in the water. And we would have given tummy tickles and snorgels to Flynn right off! XO

Awwww, who couldn't love the curly toes photo? We like the artified version the best.
Clearly extra special rain water, and served in a special way. Amazing what cats drink out of, and maybe what tastes better to them is untreated water.
The jigsaws were brilliant, if somewhat challenging. Thoroughly enjoyable, though that snuggly tummy, curly toes offer has to be tops.
