Two short posts this week from March 2011.
Flynn: am not amused.
A few days ago mum put icky worming stuff on our necks. I don't like it. It made my fur go scruffy and I am trying to reach it.
I am reaching as far as I can, but it's no good I just can't get to it.
I am not amused mum and I am going to sulk for the rest of the day.
Eric: Easy Like Sunday.
I am going to take it very easy this Sunday....
and I may even snooze right through Monday.
We were asked a couple of questions this week which we will answer.
Q. Are we brothers from the same mother?
A. Yes we are litter mates.
Q. Were we the only two in the litter?
A. No, there were three more in the litter.
And not so much a question. Some of you said you get the icky flea stuff put on your necks but didn't know you could have it for worming. We get Frontlined for fleas every month, and we get Profender worming spot on put on our necks every three months. In the UK it is only available with a vet's prescription. We have it rather than tablets because Eric is almost impossible to pill, and Flynn reacts badly to worming injections although he has no problem with other injections. It is easier to do both of us together with the icky neck stuff.
I am joining Athena the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.
For Eric I used Beauty at 60%, then Emboss at 45%.
For Flynn I used Psychedelic at 55% followed by Devilish at 35%
Yes, that is a tough spot to get too, fortunately! Love the art too. Big hugs from all of us.
ReplyDeleteEven sulking they were good looking, handsome boys.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Profender, I don't know if it's available here. Supposedly Revolution works for fleas and internal parasites.
Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!
we agree for that stuff in the neck.. we jump in our bed to get rid of that... the mama is not amused too hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteI imagine having that icky stuff on their neck probably was a bit of an irritation, mostly to their ego. A necessary evil. And didn't they look super handsome in these photos. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI well remember all my angels' reactions to icky neck stuff. 🙄😆 I had not heard of Profender, either, but that would have been ideal, IMO!
ReplyDeleteOh those handsome boys!! Of course I do have a bit of a THING for gingers.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
MOL MOL Sorry Flynn but as agile as cats are one thing they cannot do is lick their neck. But you gave it a good try.
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
Those boys always make me smile! Nice catwork! Hope you and Ivor are both well. Until next time...Jean
ReplyDeleteCats are very agile, but can't reach that part!

Cute flashback. Poor Flynn did look upset by that stuff on his neck. Thanks for the puzzles. XO
ReplyDeleteIt look like your neck and the back of your head are an arm and you are striking a convincing pose
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art!
ReplyDeleteCute kitty photos and flashback post. Take care, have a happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteLovely art, as always!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Lol. Some spots are just difficult to reach. Looks like someone has relaxation down to a science! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely art!
ReplyDeleteWhat would Flynn have thought if he knew that icky stuff went in that spot BECAUSE he couldn't reach it?... Eric has the right response to everything.
ReplyDeleteI had to give Angel Tara some flea meds on her neck a few times. She was not a fan!
ReplyDeletePoor Flynn. That's the one place cats can't reach, I think! And Eric sure did do the Easy thing well. XO
