Eric's Day Flashback - Tummy Time!

Before we get to the flashback I want to say that this is our 2,501st post. If Brian hadn't said earlier in the week that it was their 3,000th post we would have missed it altogether. Our 2,500th was the Sunday Selfie.

This week the flashback comes from March 2011 and was one for Eric's

Tummy Tuesday.

We have had nearly a week of sunny weather so I like to lie on the shelf of our outdoor run and catch the rays. The run is only used for holidays but is left on the lawn the rest of the time so we can sunbathe on the shelf if we want to. It's a good place to show off my tummy.

Dad came over and rubbed his head against me. I think he is trying to make me smell like him.

Now I will have to have a bath and get my smell right again.

Quick wash of the legs and that should do it.

Finished! Don't do that again dad, it's me who is supposed to put my smell on you, not the other way round.

Aaaarghh take the flashy box away, I'm trying to sleep.
I have been asked if that is really my beautiful tail. I'm sorry to disappoint, but no that is not attached to me. If I had such a wonderful tail I would carry it around proudly. It is actually the edge of our vishus deerskin bed which I have pushed back a bit with my feet. I wonder if I can get it transplanted.

This is  where the horses go  to be schooled.

The surface is made of woodchippings and it is very good for rolling in.

It also makes an excellent giant litterbox.

This is the evil black thing that steals the Beans clothes and makes them leave home to look for them. When mum finished unpacking. I tried to squash it to make sure it couldn't get the clothes back inside it again. You can see my nice pink paw pads and a bit of my tummy.

Eric always enjoyed showing off his tummy. I hope you have enjoyed looking back at it.

I know!! I think it's a slide, If I sit here I wonder if I can slide down it.


Oh I know what it is now, it's the sun lounger. I just remembered mum turns them upside down because the fev-vers poop on them.
Well if it's a lounger, I'd better lounge.


What better way to spend a Sunday, and you get my tummy as a bonus too.

Eric always loved to roll. It didn't matter where, in the dirt, on the grass, anywhere would do. It was his passion. If he wasn't rolling, he was just happy to show off his tummy. All the following photos are from 2007. No words needed to explain these photos.

This photo was taken just before the Beans deserted us and our outdoor run was ready to be put against the garage wall so we could still go out in the fresh air and sunshine. I like to lie on the shelf, but if you look at the top of the ramp, someone had beaten me to it! I was very polite and didn't chase Mr. Pigeon away and laid on the ground instead. When the Beans came back from their holidays, Mr. Pigeon had gone. Mum knows that we didn't have him for supper because we can't get out of our run once dad has fixed it to the wall. Mum said he had probably gone back home to his loft. At least now I can have my shelf back.
We have told mum she can put some of her holiday photos on our blog, probably from Thursday onwards. At least that will keep her happy.
