Playing!

These photos were taken about 6 weeks ago, but then we had the scare of my back legs giving out and mum forgot about posting them.

When Carol and Barrie came to visit, they brought me yummy treats and this nippy bug.

Although I don't play fast and furious like I used to, I still can't resist a good nippy toy.

I had given it a good chew....

then dad threw it for me to catch.

Mine! Take it if you dare.

My Prize.

Last month the Cats of Wildcat Woods had a competition for their 7th Blogoversary. They had 3 prizes for 3 questions and I won the prize for one of them, and it arrived last week.

I got 2 packets of delicious treats, Krunchie Kravings Catnip treats and Kittles Tuna and Cranberry treats. I also got a Yeowww! fishie and ball and a little mouse that rattles when mum shakes it for me. Mum got some lovely kitty cards by a local artist and some stickers.

I like both lots of treats but the Wellness Kittles are my favourite. Mum was surprised and thought I would like the nippy treats the best.

I had a go at the little mousie first. Mum and dad were laughing because I was trying to bunny kick it.

My favourite game is catch. Dad threw my nippy fish for me and mum tried to get photos. I was moving so fast that a lot of them were so blurred they were no good.

Sometimes I bat it back instead of catching it, then dad has to go fetch!

He holds it over me so I can bat it too.

But I always like to go back to playing catch.

Then I chased the ball around the floor for a bit, but all that playing tired me out and I needed a snooze.

Freedom and Friends.

You may have noticed that I haven't been visiting all my friends lately. Well I can tell you that it was my humans fault. They locked me up for eleventy hundred and three days while they went cruising the Baltic and Scandinavian countries. I was not happy with them and said I am staying on this case so they can't go away again.

Then mum told me that they had met Aiti of Punapippuri and family. It was a great coincidence that Karin was in Helsinki the day before their ship arrived but wasn't flying home until the following evening which meant they could all meet up.

They had a good walk around with several coffee stops, and mum and dad said they had a very enjoyable day together. Mum told me that King P and family had sent lots of treats for me and for them also.

There are some dried fish that I have never seen before, some special home grown catnip, freeze dried chicken treats and chicken fillet treats. There is a tin which mum says is for her and has lots of delicious human treats for her and my dad. The picture of Punapippuri is a magnet which she has put beside her magnet of me and Eric. There is a lovely card with Pekka on it too.

Hmm, this smells good.

What is it? I have never seen anything like that before.

Do I eat it?

*tentative lick*

That's better, mum is breaking them up for me.

I was so interested in those fishies that I almost forgot my special Finnish catnip.

It's so good it even made me give Pekka a thank you kiss.

Thank you Aiti, Punapippuri and family for my delicious treats. Mum says I have to wait to open the other two bags because I am too much out of it to appreciate them right now.
I will let you see the treats that mum and dad were given whilst I dream of crunchie fishies and Finnish nip.

Jackie: It looks like I had better take over as Flynn is in his own world of flying pigs and horses on sofas at the moment.

A Package for Us.

A couple of weeks ago we received a package from Kjelle Bus. In it there was a nippy mouse, a little yellow mouse, a penguin and a sparkly ball. There were some stick treats and two strange sausages, and of course a lovely photo of Kjelle.

Flynn:  I suppose you think that is funny putting yellow mousie on my head mum.

Hmm, Mr Penguin smells good.

Mum says the sausage is not a toy but I don't care, I am going to play with it anyway.

Look out! Yellow mousie tried to get the sausage.

Chomp chomp chomp!

Hmm, it tastes like food! I think you had better get a knife and open it for me mum.

Eric: Well I am certainly not going to waste time playing with my sausage like Flynn. I am going to get right on with eating it.

Our Secret Paw has Arrived.

Our Secret Paws package has arrived! Look at this great card, we like to pounce on mousies.

We looked inside to see who it is from and it is Pierre, Newton, Ashton and cousins Nellie and Earl from Sometimes Cats Herd You.

Eric:  I can't wait to see what we've got.

 It is exciting to get presents don't you think Flynn?
Flynn: Well I would if I could get a look in.

 We have got a Kickeroo each and lots of fevvers.

And look! We have got a huge bag of Party Mix. We love those treats but can't get them here.

Mum has given us a few but I wonder if I can get some more out.

Have you managed to get some out Flynn?

Flynn: Look, we have got a lovely box too. It is a bit small for me to get in but I am working on it.

Eric: It doesn't matter how hard you try, I don't think you will fit in there Flynn.

I had a chew on my kickaroo but mum was too slow to get the photo. I don't bunny kick, I leave that to Flynn. I like to bite it instead.

Look! We have got balls with fevvers on too.

I am going to lie on the treats so Flynn can't get them and mum can't put them away.

I can play with my fevvers at the same time.

Flynn: Move over Eric, you're hogging everything. You can't see it here but I am playing with a little soft ball.

Now I am attacking stripey which is nice and soft too.

Hmmm, this kickaroo smells interesting.

I've got the little soft ball again. I love batting balls around but I get a bit nervous of them sometimes because one hit me on the nose when I was a small kitten and left me with a whistley nose. I really like this one though because it is so soft.

Mum laughed at me because I was trying to bunny kick it.

Oops! It tried to escape.

Phew! I am tired out now. Do you think I am fitting in the box any better yet? I have taken the ball in with me.
