Eric: Nope, you know I don't like having my photo taken. Take Flynn's photo, you know the little poser likes it. He would be in all the photos if he could.Mum: Aww go on Eric, pleeeeease.
Eric: Oh okay, I suppose so but you better be quick. I'm only giving you the one chance at it.

I think your mum needs to realize that in some countries, a fine and fabulous rear is relished and appreciated. She should feel proud of your lack of inhibitions to share your tail!
I know your frustration all too well, Mum! The same thing happens to me. I stay focussed on one kitty for quite a long time, trying to coax them to look at me, and it never works. And if they do turn for an instant, they've shifted again by the time you snap the shot!

Mom thought it was funny that Flynn's tail got in the way, but guess your Mum wasn't happy with it. It's a good picture of you Eric regardless of the tail.
