MY SECRET HIDING PLACE.
When it has been very cold lately it is hard to find somewhere good to keep warm. The other day I found the airing cupboard door open and before you could say 'Where's Flynn?' I was in there. Oh it is lovely with all the nice clean warm towels to snuggle on. Nobody knows about this secret place.
Uh-oh, I think I may have been spotted. Surely she wouldn't make me move. If I keep very still and quiet, she may think she imagined seeing me in here.
Aww go on mum, it's cold out there. You wouldn't make a poor freezing kitty get out of such a nice warm bed would you? Thanks mum! She let me stay.

Ooooh an airing cupboard! We like the sound of that. As we live in the tropics though, every cupboard is warm - and we like to lie in them too - esp the ones with clean, soft clothes and sheets!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool place to hang out and sleep! Jonesie says she wants to teleport over. She got caught in a major rainstorm this afternoon and she was soaking wet and hollering to come in...sleeping on some warm towels with you would make her happy.

ReplyDeleteOur mama had an airing closet in Ireland, but has never seen one here in the States.....in the winter she wishes she had that airing closet here, but not in our terribly hot and humid summers.

ReplyDeleteI hate to tell you Flynn, but you're quite easy to spot, as long as the door is open to the cupboard. With your bright orange furs against the red towels, you are like a beacon. I'm sure your Mom didn't mind you keeping warm in there.
