We didn't think today could get any sadder, then we heard that handsome Luxie had gone to the Rainbow Bridge too. Farewell sweet friend, you really were the Whitest of Boys and we will miss you.
More sadness. We didn't know Luxie, but he sure was a beautiful cat. How unfortunate that he seemed to have a bad heart. At least at the Rainbow Bridge, all the kitties' heart work just fine.
Today has been such a terribly sad day for all of us, we are really going to miss Luxie and Eric too, and we love them so very much. We love you too, furriends ... Hugs, purrs and headbutts, Sabrina, Sam, Simon and Momma Jan too
We read about both Fat Eric and Luxie and left our sympathies with each. We had no idea of the deep bond you all shared with Eric and his mom....Run free Eric and Luxie and may you always purr in your people's hearts. Madi and Mom
We are a large family of cats sending our prayers and purrs on the loss of Luxie. We are so sad that we never got to know him and now will never have that chance. Our mum has a secret passion for white orientals. She had always loved their intensity and loyalty. Mum had a candle she lights when one of us crosses. She will light that special candle for Luxie. Carry our love with you, sweet boy. God speed.
It is very sad losing these old friends, and so suddenly. But they have left their mark. And we couldn't be more thankful for Fat Eric introducing you to the blogosphere. They will be missed, but fondly remembered. --Jasper
(It's funny going back to the old posts and seeing the comments from the "old gang" on there...)
A terrible few days for the CB; we were very sad to hear about Luxor and send our deepest condolances for him and Fat Eric=we know they are playing together in the sunbeams at the Bridge...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
We are ginger and white brothers and enjoy sharing our adventures together walking in the fields. Sadly Eric left for the Rainbow Bridge on 19.03.2013. I joined my brother on 1st May 2017 so now we are together again for all time.
He was a very sweet friend

Poor Lux. I'll go by and visit. Haven't seen him in ages; thought he'd stopped blogging.
ReplyDeleteFor a moment I got a horrible shock seeing Fat Erik had died. I thought it was you, Eric. Not that you're fat of course....
First it was Eric and that was hard...and then to come home this evening and find Luxor.
ReplyDeleteTwo long time furfriends gone ...
Gone too soon.
We are doubly sad.
:-(
