First of all we would like to thank everyone for all the lovely comments wishing me well and sending purrs and purrayers. We couldn't believe how many you sent us.
Dad has taken our cat trees out because I am so wobbly that I will fall off if I try to get up on them.
I have taken over the Ham-Mick which Flynn usually sleeps on.
I was watching dad playing with Flynn.
And then I grabbed his tail.

Oh sweetheart! Flynnie will let you grab his tail as many times as you'd like if it makes you feel better. We must always remember that you are all mancat and enjoy mancatly persuits. As always, you look too handsome for words. Our prayers are with you now and always.
ReplyDeleteWe hazd a cat-sister, Misty, who has something with symptoms similar to yours. It lasted about 48-hours with complete return to normalcy at 60 hours. Never happened again.
We love you, dearest boy. God bless you.
I am glad you can still hunt down Flynn. Always a good sign. We are continuing to purr for you.
ReplyDeleteStill purring for you buddy!! Hope you feel better!!
ReplyDeleteStill got games in your heart, hey, Eric? That is good to see. We are so sorry you are wobbly. Of course we will continue to purr for you to get better. Meantime, you get some good loves from your Mom and Dad and have a gentle game with Flynn.
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Eric. Always keep them guessing so they know you are in charge. Get well!
ReplyDeletePee Ess: can kitties get things like "slipped discs" like humans? I see in the first picture you are licking at your back - maybe coincidental, but maybe because something is hurting you there.
ReplyDeleteWe are purraying that you bounce back, Eric! It's a good sign that you still are up to playing, we think. Just hang tight and let Mother Nature and Father Time do their work of healing.
ReplyDeleteHee hee tails are the best toys, unless they're your tail! We're purring you get better and better!

ReplyDeleteWritten after the sad news...
ReplyDeleteWe want to say that we are very moved by the love shown to Eric the last days. The cat trees removed for consideration of his health, the hammick for comfort, the playing, Flynn tail-tapping, saying, "Im here dude"...
Eric will be long-remembered here.
We love you all!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely moment to remember. Tails are for chasing and catching.
ReplyDeleteA precious moment with your brother and dad. As we read this, we already know you are at the bridge so the tears are flowing. We love you Eric. We hop[e little Flynn is going to cope with out you ~ we know how close you brothers have always been.
ReplyDeletePurrs. RIP dear little friend.
We are so sorry for your lost... we are very sad :´´´-(
ReplyDeletePurrrrrs to all the family and prayers to Eric...
We've been wanting to say how very sweet this post is ever since we first saw it, but we first saw it right after seeing the sad news, so every time we tried to comment we had to stop because the Lady burst out leaking from the eyes all over the place (like she's starting to do again now). We've saved that last picture in our special pictures folder on our computer. Cute Flynn, playful Eric & smiling dad - it's just so sweet.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from Spokane after being gone since Monday (husband having stem cells pulled for transplant) so I only now saw the sad news. My heart goes out to you, I know how you are feeling. So hard to loose them!!! Gosh........breaks your heart.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Toni (Big Piney Woods)
