Eight Weeks.

It was 8 weeks ago today in the first minutes of Tuesday morning that we had to say our goodbyes to Eric and help him on his way to the Rainbow Bridge.
Unknown to me, our friend Gill (Flynn's holiday auntie) and her husband had a lasting memorial made for our boy. It was waiting for us when we got back from our holidays and was such a lovely surprise.
They had a star registered in Eric's name so now every time the sky is clear we can look to the stars and know that he is looking down on us.
The location of Eric's star is shown by the red circle.

We love and miss you so much Eric but you will live on in our hearts for ever.

  6. How totally RIGHT. Eric was such a star, as a purrson, a family member, and an icon of the CB. Mommy is gonna look for his star tonight!

  15. This is absolutely right and a lovely tribute. We shall look for this star too, when we have dark skies again. Äiti says it is in a most excellent place too - it is just by Leo, the Lion and also will be very visible from northern skies. In fact, we are sure we will see the northern lights blazing in this area of the sky next winter. Shine on Eric.

  16. Oh my Goodness!
That reminds me of when Mommy travels and she would say, "goes outside and looks at the stars!" And wes would be looking at them at the same time and be close!
Eric will shine forever in my night sky!
    Kisses

  20. How very perfect and fitting. We are in tears. We know Eric's life force is all around us,( mum says she can feel him) but we simply are unable to see it. His star will be a perfect reminder. We are comforted by knowing his star is shining it's light upon those who loved him right this very moment. Shine on, dearest one.

Besides enjoying a few extra noms, how did our darling
    Flynnie do in your absence?
All of our love to you and yours.
