I am the other side of the thicket from the badgers.
I am trying to see them, but they don't often come out by day.
I am listening carefully but all is quiet.
I might as well munch on the grass and go back home.
I am back in my garden now and looking for sparrows.
They like this bush and often there are twelve or more in there.
If I put my scent on the bush they may keep away.
If not, I will yell at them.

Looks like you had a darn fun outing Flynn!
ReplyDeleteFlynn you are smart to stay away from those badgers!
ReplyDeleteYou tell them! That is your bush huh? :)
ReplyDeleteFlynn, too bad those birdies didn't come out to visit you.
ReplyDeleteBadgers, sparrows....everyone wants to visit you!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Oooh, stay away from those badgers, okay, Flynn? The sparrows can stay, though. :)
ReplyDeleteWe aren't sure, but we think badgers sound big and scary. We're glad there's a big mancat like you around to put them in their place, just in case! We'll stick to the sparrows.
ReplyDeleteIf they are smart they will stay away from you!
ReplyDeleteWoah....you got badgers there? I've never seen one but I know I'd be scared. You must be awfully brave.
ReplyDeleteFlynn, I don't think I'd want to be seeing any badgers!
ReplyDeleteLots of fun things going on in your garden :) I don't get to see Badgers but I do see Foxes xxoxx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
You tell those badgers Flynn. Good job trying to keep them away. We don't have badgers here. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteCodness. Sparrows and badgers? It's like a zoo at your place!
ReplyDeleteWhat a tough job you have!
ReplyDeleteYou really have a lot to do there, Flynn, keeping up with all those introoders! Be careful of stranger danger.

Flynn, we hope you at least can catch a mousie or a bug! Too mean of those birds not to visit you...
ReplyDeleteI yell at sparrows too. Noisy critters! happy Monday :)
ReplyDeleteFlynn I think that yelling is gonna do the trick for sure!
ReplyDeleteNot the badgers! Vishus critters, keep clear of those claws! We bet the birds know who is boss at your place!
ReplyDeleteYikes Flynn, that's a mighty roar!
ReplyDeleteWatch out for the badgers, Flynn. They can be pretty tough.
ReplyDelete"Badgers, we don't need no stinking Badgers!" OK, that's a play on a movie quote (Badges, we don't need no stinking badges, but I don't recall the movie now.) I would steer clear of the badgers, personally. I think chasing birds is more fun and safer.
ReplyDelete--Jasper
Wow, we would be sitting and chattering at them and trying to catch them, not trying to make the birds stay away. That is very unusual cat behavior, Mr. Flynn. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great day out in the "wild" :)
ReplyDeleteXOXO
bwaahahaha...I bet they never come back after smelling that tuna breath!!
