Mancat Monday.

I am the other side of the thicket from the badgers.

I am trying to see them, but they don't often come out by day.

I am listening carefully but all is quiet.

I might as well munch on the grass and go back home.

I am back in my garden now and looking for sparrows.

They like this bush and often there are twelve or more in there.

If I put my scent on the bush they may keep away.

If not, I will yell at them.

  7. We aren't sure, but we think badgers sound big and scary. We're glad there's a big mancat like you around to put them in their place, just in case! We'll stick to the sparrows.

  30. "Badgers, we don't need no stinking Badgers!" OK, that's a play on a movie quote (Badges, we don't need no stinking badges, but I don't recall the movie now.) I would steer clear of the badgers, personally. I think chasing birds is more fun and safer.

  31. Wow, we would be sitting and chattering at them and trying to catch them, not trying to make the birds stay away. That is very unusual cat behavior, Mr. Flynn. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
