This week the art is taken from a scanned photo when Eric and Flynn were about 9 months old.
This is the original photo. They used to like to climb up through the eight feet high Leyland hedge. They would walk along it and sit and watch what was going on, but they never tried to go down the other side into the fields.
For this version I used Lunapic Devillish at 20%, then Frida at 50% and finished with Nebula at 50%. Then finished with a plain border.
This version I started with Frost at 35% and then Nebula again, but only at 30% this time. I then gave it a bevelled glass border.
The pictures were a bit rushed this week as we had been away for a few days and I didn't have anything ready.

Cool art... and lovely memories.
ReplyDeleteLuv it!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet youngsters and such lovely artwork too. We have used Frida on top too today, miss Jackie :D Pawkisses for a Happy Caturday :) <3
ReplyDeleteOh what a very SWEET photo of the boys when they were "little guys". So cute - they were certainly the closest of close brothers. Always brave and trying new things while "guarding the patch" !! Love the effects on the photos but the BEST is that sweet original.
ReplyDeleteLove, Pam and Teddy too
Baby boys! Squeeeee! They must have been delightful beyond words as little ones. They certainly grew into marvelous mancats. The last picture really has an otherworldly quality about it, doesn’t it.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun seeing the boys as youngsters. We like all the pictures but probably the third one the best. It is always great to see those two boys.
ReplyDeleteHello beautiful boys. This is the first time we've seen you both together as kittens! Aw....we like the way those effects bring out all the oranges and greens in the original photo with you guys in the grass. We bet where you are there is even more green grass and blue sky!
ReplyDeleteLove, your calico girlffriends
Cool art! I think I like the first one best because of the texture in the foliage. Those boys must have had fun climbing up that hedge! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such an adorable photo of the boys, such sweeties. We sure miss them too.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweeties!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art :)

You boys always have the best art!
ReplyDeleteI think the last one is my favorite because of the contrast between your boys and the background. Handsome devils from every angle! We miss reading about new adventures - though much of what you post IS new to me.
ReplyDeleteSweet memories, and lovely art. Purrs

What lovely pictures, my favorite is... the first ! Nice memory. The boys seem so "philosophes", sitting and watching time passing...
ReplyDeleteLook at those sweet little boys!
ReplyDeleteHi angel boys! We love these photos!
ReplyDeleteVery nice photo. They are the age that Rusty is now. He has the face of Flynn, but the body shape of Eric.
ReplyDeleteSuch cuties. No wonder they became handsome mancats.
ReplyDeleteThe boys sure are the epitome of adventuresome. Mind you with a hedge like that, what right minded cat on a farm wouldn't..... I think the second image with the bevelled edge just has the edge and reminds us of of summer holidays, days when we did have summers, that is MOL
