On the 20th July 2006 I started a blog for the boys. I never dreamt I would still be updating it 12 years later. I have enjoyed taking so many photos and telling of their adventures over the years, and now I continue to share our memories with you, our friends.
The cat blogging community is a wonderful thing. You are there to share the happy times, and also to offer support in the bad times and it means a lot to us.
Thank you for sticking with us through the years.
The Friday Flashback this week comes October 2011 and is called:
A Walk in the Grass.
The horses haven't been in this field since earlier in the summer and now the grass is very thick and hard to walk through.
We find it much easier if we walk in dad's tractor wheel marks.
and on the way down we have a good nom in the grass.
After we have finished nomming, we go back home and yak up grass on the carpet.

12 years is an amazing achievement, and we're glad you kept the blog going. It seems a bit bittersweet, this blogoversary, so we're sending purrs and head butts. :-)
Happy Blogovesary dear friend! I’m super happy you’ve kept the blog going too, those wonderful memories always do make us smile!
Yours has always been one of our very favorite blogs. Of course, we are very partial to orange in this house. Thank you for sharing your boys with all of us.
What a great flashback!
One of our favorite things to see Eric and Flynn do was walking in the fields. They enjoyed it so much. Happy blogoversary. We’re glad you have continued to share your memories with us.
While the boys have passed away, they will never be gone. We enjoy having little pieces of them in our lives through your stories and photographs. They live forever because of it.
Happy Blogoversary!!! We prefer low grass too... and we love meadows with horses... we normally do no fruits, but the horse apples are tasty ;O)))
Wow, happy blogoversary! I'm glad you are still here, and we can revisit the boys regularly.
Congratulations on 12 years of blogging! We are so glad that you didn't stop after your boys went to the Bridge, and #1 says she is so happy to have met you in person this year!
Congratulations and many thank yous for sticking with blogging about the boys for this long. We hope your trip has been relaxing - we've been having the most incredible weather here in Finland(N) so hope the cruise was cool! And Äiti is delighted that through blogging she got to meet too.
Happy Blogoversary! It’s so nice to see the flashbacks of your boys.
Happy Blogaversary....12 years of two gorgeous ginger boys and all the memories. We are just so happy we met you all and have enjoyed the flashbacks since the boys became Angels. We send you BIG HUGS today and every day.
Love, Teddy and Mom Pam
Thanks for a dozen delightful years of memories. Much love, Layla and kitties.
Happy blogaversary! 12 years is such a landmark achievement. The flashbacks of the boys always make our hearts smile, and we especially love seeing their adventures in the fields again.
Twelve years is amazing. Longer and better and more ginger than anyone we know.
Happy12th Birthday * tips hat to the Bridge *
We are so so glad you have kept blogging. We just love seeing the two angel boys out in the fields etc. It makes the Mom here smile big time. Cats do love to get out in the tall grass. You all have a fabulous day.
Twelve years go by so quickly! Happy blogoversary. Sending lots of love your way. - Tomx
ConCatulations on 12 years of blogging! We love seeing your precious boys! We're off to do the puzzle!!
The Florida Furkids
We did the puzzle! 19:38. It was fun!
I started in Jan 2006 but just lost my heart for it after Shaggy died last year.
Congratulations on your 12th Blogoversary! Quite the accomplishment! We have enjoyed each and every post!
What a jungle you two were checking out that day.
Concats on 12 years of blogging! You've picked the perfect flashback to celebrate--Mom laughed at the yak on the carpet part (although we have no idea why).
Concatulations on 12 years of blogging, miss Jackie. WOW! what an achievement, we're only half way there :D We're happy to have known the angels and still see so many posts that we never have seen before, like this one. Happy Blogoversary. WE are also so glad you kept the blog ongoing. It is with such sadness when a blog goes silent. We miss so many of the oldtimers. Like yourself we will have an anniversary next month. But we love sharing these special moments on your flashback posts, and we sure do miss both Eric and Flynn.
Happy Blogovesary! What an amazing milestone! I'm glad you're keeping it up as well.

Happy Blogoversary! HAH! they threw up on the rug.
Happy Blogoversary - we are so glad you have continued to bring us memories of the boys.
Happy Blogoversary! Isn't this community such a wonderful place? I have nowhere near 12 years under my belt, but even in my couple of years here, I feel like I've made so many friends. Yours was one of the first blogs I started following back when I began! I always enjoyed seeing Eric and Flynn's adventures, and I will always enjoy the memories you share of them.
Your boys are one-of-a-kind and it's been quite a fun journey to follow them. I regret not following your blog back when Eric was alive.
Happy blogoversary! Your boys were so special.
Happy Blogoversary! We have loved seeing pictures of your ginger boys and hearing their stories all these years. Thanks so much for continuing the blog <3
Happy blogoversary! We're very glad we found your blog. We're lucky to have known Flynn, and enjoy seeing the happy life he and Eric had together. It warms our hearts
You and your wonderful boys have meant so much to us through the years. There is something about them that was and still is so captivating. They’ll always be a part of our lives. We’re so thankful that we can still visit with them via your blog. There are memories, happy memories, that we cherish. We’ll always love them.
Jackie, Eric and Flynn were 3 of our first kit kat friends and knowing you and your Gingerboys and reading their antics has always been so endearing. You capture them perfectly in photos too
Hugs Cecilia and Madi
Happy 12th Blogoversary! Sorry we're late getting here, Jackie. It's an amazing achievement, and we are thankful for your friendship, and grateful that you have kept your wonderful blog going. The memories you share truly warm our hearts. Hugs.
You dear dear precious handsome boys.
You sure do capture them perfectly. They were always wonderfully depicted.
I do it too CK.
Those pictures bring back many memories of Eric and Flynn. Thank you so much for your kind comments for Simba. We really miss him.
Hope you enjoyed your cruise!
We love this blog and LOVE seeing the Angels nomming grass!
Those two are a testament to why two cats are always better than one!
We are so happy you began blogging twelve years ago! Your boys had such an idyllic life :) And like all cats, were very thoughtful about where they chose to yak!;p

Hehehehe, I know what you mean about the grass and the carpet... I mean it's there to be used, right?
I love walking on the paths as around here, especially in winter, the untrodden or unrolled grass gets me too wet on the tummy floof which is an absolute no no.
We both love the jigsaw picture too, very much an african cat hunting scene....
Toodle pips and
16:38 on the puzzle...
Wow, that is dedication to your blog! Concats!
Yak the grass up on the carpet...MOL!!
