This week the flashback comes from July 2012 and is called:
Poop Mountain.
Flynn: This is the horse poop heap from the stables in the winter. Mousies and rats go under there but I can't get after them.
There has been an introoder cat around so I have to put my smell on the poop heap to hide his smell. Mum says I'm a little stinker.
Eric: I had better check you've covered up the introoder smell.
Yup, that seems to be in order.
I had better check down the bottom too.
Poop heap climbing is fun. Almost as good as rolling in pheasant poop.*

Before Bear, I assumed cats wouldn't roll in smelly, yucky stuff. I wish I had a picture of the look of horror on my face the first time he rolled in mud. But poop takes it to a whole different level!
ReplyDeleteCats love to smell everything :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a poop pile too from the donkeys. It does have some good smells. Always good to see you two angels. You all have a super day.
ReplyDeleteOh wow...that's quite a poop mountain indeed and I bet it's more fun than mulch - maybe a little more stinky though. The "artsy" version of the photo makes the poop look pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
I so remember them having fun on the mountain!

ReplyDelete*said with huge dose of sarcasm*
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, poop mountain! Way to go, kitties!
*eyeroll*
Oh gosh, that sounds like one stinky mountain!!
ReplyDeleteYou two were very lucky to get to investigate the horse poop mountain. We get in big trouble if we find any stinky smells and roll around in them.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I hope they didn't bring any home with them!!!
ReplyDeleteBoys, I remember your pheasant poop rolls! Eric at least. Mom here may have said something if I ever had the opportunity to investigate a poop mountain! Sadly I haven't.
ReplyDeleteGee! Now you have us wishing we could go outdoors to a poop mountain!
ReplyDeleteJulie loves mouse hunting, but only does it on the porch. Pretty successfully too ;)
Now, we are helping mum with the puzzle :)
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
That's a very unique place to investigate! MOL
ReplyDeleteUm...we're glad we've already had dinner! Wonderful art, though!
ReplyDeletePheasant poop, horse poop, mine poop, yours poop. Dad made me write that. Apparently he thinks he's a clever poet this morning. We always love your artwork with the dear boys, but this one's particularly wonderful.

ReplyDeleteA Poop Mountain! The concept is staggerring... We didnt remember that one.
ReplyDeleteThat Poop mountain sounds like a grand place to keep watch and catch the odd critter. Oh My we laughed when we saw Eric go for the face wipe into that Pheasant Poop. What a great photo too showing that dark glob. Oh Eric you were amazing and you too Flynn. Thanks so much for sharing these grand memories
ReplyDeleteHAHA....we have a poop pile at the barn where my horse is also. We have one off to the side for the fresh stuff and one that was moved to another area of older stuff that is used in gardens, I use it in my flowerbeds. So funny about the cats climbing on the poop pile.
ReplyDeleteMOL @ a poop pile. Fun flashback. 20:01 on the puzzle.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
You boys had so much fun on the farm! So many things to see, smell and investigate. I'm surprised one of you didn't pee on the pile!
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun memory watching you guys all over the horse poop. I think I'll pass on the pheasant poop link! - Tom x
ReplyDeleteI think I'd have to lift my nose a little higher when you came by after standing on that.
ReplyDeletefrodo loves rolling in his own poo!!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! A whole heap of POOP!!! I think I would like that. Mom tells me that Queen Penelope was a poop roller...

I'm glad my lot don't have any mountains of poop to roll in. Eric and Flynn undoubtedly cleaned themselves well afterward. I don't think all of mine would...
ReplyDeleteWell they certainly look like they are a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteHappy Day to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Thank goodness we cats do not eat the smells as well. Some woofies I know go great guns at chicken and house muck, and it makes me sick to see them do it. At least we cats do a good job of covering up smells ;)
