Also, I have a holiday photos blog which has very few visitors. I have just finished a series of posts about our road trip to Ireland.
While we were there we had a very strange experience which I saved for Halloween. I promise you that it is 100% true and you can read it here.
On to the flashback which comes from March 2013 and is called:
A Hissy Fit!
We are close to the badger sett and I think he came past here during the night.
Hisssssssss! I found this smell Eric. You go and find your own.
Eric: Well if that's the way you feel, I will find one of my own.
sniff sniff sniff.
It is not as interesting as the one Flynn found, but it will do.
That's enough of that. I'm going back home. Flynn can suit himself.

That was mighty fine whiffin boys! Hey, we enjoy your photo blog!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it looks like even brothers get tired of sharing. That was some very good sniffing!
ReplyDeleteI went over to check out the story - and eek! That was creepy!
ReplyDeletewe are the same, sometimes we find things what are not shareable...
ReplyDeleteAre you sure the sniffer is in good working condition, or purrhaps in need of a tune up?
ReplyDeleteWe missed you but knew you were having FUN! These photos are super - I guess even "sniffing spots" are territorial when it comes to who has "FIRST RIGHTS OF SNIFFING" !! Even between brothers......
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy and Mom
My wife (well, we get married in 8 days) and I are going to Ireland next year. I can't wait to go read the story.
ReplyDeleteAww! nice photos love the conversation LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a tanfastical weekend :-)
It looks like that smell wasn’t too pleasant for a brotherly relationship. Badgers do cause trouble sometimes, eh?
ReplyDeleteAnd I will be visiting your other blog to learn about your holiday. I didn’t know there was another blog.
I love your flashback posts. Looking back at fun adventures is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
DeleteHave a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥♥♥
MOL MOL Hissy fit is a big thing in Southern USA
ReplyDeleteA proper hissy fit can either be described as 'throwing a hissy fit' or 'pitching a hissy fit'. Of course throwing and pitching are interchangeable but in my mind pitching one is SERIOUS
Hugs cecilia
Nice seeing the boys on patrol again in this weeks' flashback episode. Loved the Irish story.

Did they quarrel often? Just like brothers MOL
ReplyDeleteThey knew that sometimes, you just have to stand your ground! Great photos.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Flynn had a mean streak. He never showed it to me. I'm heading the do the puzzle and read your other blog.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute flashback. I just read your ghost story- that is creepy. Thank you for the puzzle- I am off to do it now. XO
ReplyDelete19:59 on the puzzle...sigh...
ReplyDeleteYour picture/trip blog is furtastic! Lovely scenery even though you had so much mist and wetness. Reminds me of when I lived in Nova Scotia, if it was not foggy or raining then the weather was good, MOL!
Nice sniffs and hisses, your boys jad!
MOL..we've never seen you so hissy fitting, sweet angels, but it sure was very cute. We're still behind with all your puzzles and our own too, Jackie, but will try to puzzle them asap. We hope you had a wonderful vacation😸Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteGreat art! Off to read your story.
ReplyDeleteOh MY! I agree. You found a good sniff and that will do. Let Flynn have hos way with his. XXXX
ReplyDeleteThere are plenty of good sniffs for all. No need for hissy fits.
ReplyDeleteNow We are off to read about your Irish adventure.
It is always so much fun to see the boys on their adventures. You all have a great week.
ReplyDeleteOh, the badger memory! We remembered that or one about a badger. Awfully cute to see Eric and Flynn and hear their conversations once again :) - Tomx
ReplyDeleteSo much to smell, so much to investigate!
ReplyDeleteLove the coloring in your arty pic. Another wonderful flashback with the boys!
ReplyDeleteWe can only imagine all the smells your boys had the joy of discovering. Obviously some better than others.
ReplyDeleteI so miss your adventures and how you would join each other on these walks/hunts. Miss you both so much! xoxo
ReplyDeleteGreat flashback! Thanks for the puzzle too!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
looks like my kitties are clearly not the only ones who know how to throw hissyfits!
ReplyDeleteWe think there are enough smells for both of you!
ReplyDeleteI bet there must be loads of fun and exciting sniffs on the farm, and probably way more interesting than those I get. If I send you guys a box, maybe you could post me some new ones?
ReplyDeletePurrs for a great week,
ERin
PS we'll be doing catch up on your holiday blog too, and the jigsaw :)
16:24 on the jigsaw; biy that was a toughie, mol

Good to have you back after your holiday. Happy flashback.
ReplyDeleteThose are some fine stinkies you fellows found. Glad you are both home safe
ReplyDeleteWe are indoor cats and never get to enjoy outdoor sniffs. Although Fwank goes out for ten minutes before breakfast and I sniff him to see if he found anything good.
ReplyDeleteWe are indoor cats, so we never get to enjoy outdoor sniffs. However Frank goes outside for ten minutes before breakfast, so we try to sniff him to enjoy his adventures.
