Eric: Flynn catches lots of mice but he only likes to play with them, not eat them. When they stop playing with him and go dead he gets bored and gives them to me.I was here napping on the chair and I heard Flynn come back. Look Eric he sez, I got you a mousie. I wuz furry tired but I leaned ofurr to have a look at it.
So I had to git down and have a look. I whapped it to make sure it wuz dead. Well I didn't want to waste enerjy having to chase it.
And then I nommed it right up. Yum yum.
Fanks Flynn, that wuz tasty.
I'm lucky to haf a brofurr who's a mighty hunter. It saves me having to use up my enerjy.

ReplyDeletecats are always the best chairmen... every company should have one LOL
ReplyDeleteEric really was a very lucky kitty!
ReplyDeleteGosh it must have been really nice to have a hunter-brother who would bring you snacks like that! Those boys sure did take care of each other.....
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
Such great teamwork! Our cat bro Bert hunts them, and eats them. Kitty sis Sophie isn't interested in mice.
ReplyDeleteThe number of times I've brought Mrs H a mouse and she prods it and then leaves it, MOL
ReplyDeleteYou guys sure do have a great place to sitdown and chill, your own chairs too. Now that is what I call class.

PS 14:40 on the jigsaw, which was a delight to do and also to delightful image of the boys doing what princely cats do.

Oh My Catness that was simply the best. It is wonderful to see the boys being such nice brothers and then taking a nap on the chairs. The Christmas was wonderful too. Love you guys, Mom and Dad. We hope things are going well for you!

ReplyDeleteOh I just love seeing you two on your white thrones!!
ReplyDeleteI expect Mom and Dad were sitting on a tractor or possibly a brick wall...'cause we know they never made you move. Just like with Madi should could sit anywhere.
Many hugs Cecilia
You two rock. You really do. I enjoy seeing your memories.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥
Herman here. I may have nommed a mouse way back when I was a little kid, out in the Kentucky wilderness searching for my forever home. Mom thinks I belonged to a trucker and accidentally jumped out of the cab and ran into the woods. I must have been lost for a couple months. I was a mess when I showed up at my mom's home in the woods. Ever since, I've dined on tinned meat. No more fresh mousie! Darn.
ReplyDeleteThe Hubby does all of our grocery shopping, so you could say that he does my hunting for me too!
ReplyDeletePixie is doing the same : she hunts, but she doesn't eat, and gives her prey to Zorro after a while. Purrs
ReplyDeleteaweee super cool!💕💕💕
ReplyDeleteWhen there is ever a lizard that unavoidably gets in the house, there is always the cat who will play with it up to a certain point and let it go -- still alive and I get to catch it and put it back outside where it hopefully lives to see another day. Nope I have low skilled hunters in the house. MOL
ReplyDeleteTrue Teamwork !
ReplyDeleteFlynn was so nice to bring his brother treats!
ReplyDeleteOh my heavens Eric. We don't eat them....that's gross. Welove the artsy picture though. You like them so there must be something good about eating mce....no, I can't do it.

That was a real big mousie you shared with Angel Eric, Angel Flynn. I have to ask Granny if she's hunting for me, so I can stay right here on the couch...MOL...Your artwork is very beautiful, Jackie, we used the sadness filter too, but with the other filters it didn't turned out so beautiful as yours. Thank you for the shout out. Granny's head was everywhere except with my bloggie this morning, so it was good that you remind her about the puzzle😺Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool! Mum won't let me catch a mouse. But she will panic if she saw one. Weird!

I like the photo of the boys in the chairs. They were just enjoying a fine day in the garden. No wonder it made a nice painting.
