Eric: We don't know what to fink about it. I gave it a sniff to make shore the vishus deer wuzn't still inside.
Then Flynn came out to help me make shore it wuz safe.
Flynn wuz gitting kwite excitid wiv it and started digging his claws in it.
Then mum put it on the Beans bed and he had a chew at it.
And anuvver chew.
Then mum put it on our sofa where we sleep and Flynn went and had anuvver chew on it. I wuz keeping well away furrom it cuz I don't trust it.
What do yoo all fink,is it safe or do we need some of Rocky and Mao's VDR?*

The random photo this week was chosen by Timmy Tomcat.
He asked for 15.07.07 and the nearest I found is 14.07.07.
The boys were taking a rest after a walk around the fields.

Such a cute time exploring those strange furs!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Flynn got the most out of that new item.
ReplyDeleteHere's a hint, a flat deer is not a vishus deer any longer.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos!
Well, I'd imagine if the deer WAS still a threat, it would've disagreed with Flynn biting at it, so it's probably safe. But there's nothing wrong with hanging back ... just in case!
ReplyDeletewow we never saw such an animal... we would like to check out that fur... it had a magical smell right?
ReplyDeleteOh, MY!!! Our doggies would rip it up!
ReplyDeleteBet it made for a cozy bed:)
Will do the puzzle later...
MOL, I bet it would be good for nappin on.
ReplyDeleteOh! Deer! Oh! Deer! :).

Oh my! I never did see a flat deer before but we see deer walking around the yard all the time. I bet that was a super SOFT bed but probably had some enticing aromas causing the bitey/claw thing! Love the flashbacks of the boys!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam and Teddy too
What a fun flashback! We bet that vishus deer smelled interesting.
ReplyDeleteOMCs this is 100% new to me. I started blogging in 2007 thank you for this fun flash back.
ReplyDeleteI love how the deer rug is being used by Flynn...it felt good and I bet it had a gazillion scents
Hugs cecilia

That was a plushy deer skin, Angel kitties!
ReplyDeleteRosie doesn't like fur, I had a fur hat from my mother, she ran away, maybe she thought it was a strange animal.
ReplyDeleteOh my a vicious deer...good thing only the fur came back with you! We have vicious bunnies here who eat our lilys... so Mom sprays Deer Off and it works! No more lily dinners for the rabbits!
ReplyDeleteI bet that had some very interesting tastes and smells to it!
ReplyDeleteBoy, good thing you played it safe making sure there wasn't a deer inside..looks nice and soft and the guy, he looks interesting! The housekeeper would have taken him home, tee hee! - Tom x
ReplyDeleteWell, we think that might make a great fur bed here, as long as it doesn't stink:)
ReplyDeleteWoos, Lightning and Timber
my furbabies would have scredded that in a heartbeat! Have a safetastic week 😷😷😷
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool thing to investigate!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun thing to dig into or at least sharpen your claws. Great pictures. Have a super weekend.
ReplyDeleteThey were both very brave to check that thing out.
ReplyDeleteEwww! I wouldn't go near it either. TW came in last again on the puzzle. MOL!
ReplyDeleteI love the art this week especially!
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a matter of great concern ta have a Vishus Deer in the house. But we suspect they eventually realized that annything that flat was "rendered" harmless!
ReplyDeleteI think it's safe to say that it's not going to come after you. Now for that hat in the first picture- Anyway, funderful flashback!
ReplyDeleteThat really was an extraordinary gift. You were very lucky boys!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Tama and Genji
Wow, that's a super special fur. Imagine, a vishus deer in your house!
ReplyDeleteBOYS! I don't remember this vishus Deer!
ReplyDeleteNice art!
ReplyDeleteHow sad, I love reindeer ( I think that is what it is).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art though. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
The art is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBut - isn't that vishus deer the kind that pulls Santa Claws' sleigh?
Wow! We don't know what we'd do if we saw that. You boys are brave.
ReplyDeleteI bet that had so many interesting and strange smells!
ReplyDeleteI have some sheepskin rugs but cannot put them out because the cats want to tear them up. Especially like the "resting" photo at the end. Been having some technical difficulties on my end commenting so here goes nothing! 😺
ReplyDeleteYou always have to watch for those darn Skeery Vishus Deer! Well done for the parents to bring one home who had a run in with a Fatter VD who sat on him. I dont know if I would nibble that critter.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for finding the picture from 2007. That day was my birthday so I will post yours on my 13th birthday this year! Purrs
