This week it is Eric's turn to have the post, and it comes from December 2007.
Eric's Mouse.
Look mum, I've brought you a purrezzunt.
Well if you're really sure, then I'll eat it myself, but purrleez stop telling me to take it outdoors. It's much too cold to eat out there.
The random photo this week was chosen by Katie Isabella who asked for 25.09.11. I actually had taken a lot on this date, but as Eric gets the post I have chosen one of Flynn, and also used it for Caturday Art.
I am joining Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.

What a pawsome hunter you are Eric!
ReplyDeleteThat is a pawsome flashback and it is cool that you got to have that mouse all for yourself ;)
Purrs, Julie
That was some serious mousing fun and the art is really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun memory. It was so nice of Eric to offer you the mouse, first, Mum Jackie. :)
ReplyDeleteWe love the artwork, and thank you for the puzzle!
Egads, I have no idea what I'd do if a cat brought me a fresh mouse gift!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the puzzle.
Eric was a smart kitty - who wants to dine where it's cold?
ReplyDeleteoh congrats!!! we hope it wasn't mickey, then they have to close disney land lOL
ReplyDeleteWe bet your Mum wishes you were still here to hunt for her, Eric!
ReplyDeleteThat made me laugh I mean you just couldn't eat it in the cold heheh!
ReplyDeleteI liked the art version too gives it a different atmosphere :-)

Cecilia
SCORE FOR ERIC! What a nice snack! Love the photo of Flynn too - with the art effect the picture looks like a touch of frost in the air.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Now that's how hunting goes. Well done.
ReplyDeleteBless their hearts for bringing their kills to us. I so remember.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

ReplyDeleteGreat art and thanks for the puzzle.
The Florida Furkids
What a thoughtful boy that Eric was.
ReplyDeleteOh my a mouse! Did he eat it all? I have found just the heads left over from the outside cats bird eating conquests. Lovely artwork!
ReplyDeleteah the memories of some of my kitties bringing me outdoor treasures! Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteThat was an adorable flashback. Such a sweet boy to bring you a mousie. :) Thank you for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteThat mousie looks delicious, angel Eric, too bad you had to eat it all alone...MOL ;) 😸Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞

ReplyDeleteEric everyone knows when you catch the mouse you are allowed to eat it where you like. Great photo of Flynn too. My stripe is still there too but more visible when I get my hair cut short. My Mom called it my Halo. I was never that angelic so that we kind of funny
ReplyDeleteda grate mitey hunter
ReplyDeleteCats like to show their trophies ... but not share.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
cool shots.
ReplyDeleteNice purrezzunt! Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely shot of Flynn. Thunder once brought a rabbit into the house for Mom and she was not too happy. We think she would have an even worse reaction if she saw us with a mouse - EEK would come bellowing out of her mouth:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
amarula loves bringing me mice! luckily they are almost always alive and so i get to rescue them!
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie! I LOVE the Mousie hunting posts! They always make me laugh! Kozmo is following in the boys' footsteps! Yes, we had a mouse brought in today. I did think the cat door in the screen was a good idea...And I loved the puzzle. Thank YOU!
ReplyDeleteLove Barb
I know that Flynn was the usual mouser, so Eric must have been feeling rather proud of himself.
ReplyDeleteI especially love the artwork of Flynn in the grass.
ReplyDeleteLovely art. Looks so much like a painting!
ReplyDeleteAwww, poor mousie!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Eric killed it himself this time. Love the art.
ReplyDeleteWow, that mousie didn't have a chance against such a mighty hunter as Eric!
ReplyDeleteFanks yoo Boys! Mom's birfday is on 25/9 so she asked for that and that year because it was an eventful year. You boys sure knew how to bring home the mousies! *smooches* to you Angels.
ReplyDeleteI love the kitty and the background in that photo. It reminds me a bit of Starry Night.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fine English gentleman he was, offering his Lady the fruits of the hunt. I am sure he was secretly pleased you declined, and enjoyed showing you what a delightful repast you were missing!
ReplyDeleteThat was a good catch Eric made there. And we bet getting it inside the house wasn't easy!
ReplyDeleteWe laffed and laffed at what you said about putting Ivor's face in one of the Christmas tree holes! There are lots of holes--you could be in one too.
ReplyDeleteOur kitty wasn't outdoors long enough to catch a mouse and I'm glad for that. I think I would freak out a little is she had brought me a little furry critter. I don't like mice in the house one bit and when I catch one in a trap then I have to get it out side asap. That all being said, your kitty is a fine hunter! :) Thanks for joining my #WildWednesdays linky party, darlin'. Stay safe and be well!
ReplyDeleteEric was quite the hunter! Our mom would freak if we brought in a mouse! MOL
ReplyDeleteEric that is a mighty fine catch you have there. Good of you to share but I have found Mrs H tends to be too full in an evening to be able to add to her night time snack. You did the right thing by not letting it go to waste though :)
ReplyDeleteLots of purrs
