Friday Flashback and Caturday Art

This week the flashback is from February 2008 and was a Mancat Monday Barn Patrol.

Flynn: One of our furry impawtunt mancat jobs is to check that the straw in the barn is good quality.

Eric: We check that there is nuffin there that shouldn't be there.

Sometimes we just sit quietly at the top of the ladder to make sure no introoders come in.

And on the way down, we smell the straw in case there are any mice hiding in there. It's impawtunt to check furr mice cuz sometimes they chew the string that holds the straw bales together, then when dad picks them up they break. That yooshully makes him say bad words.

When we go back down the ladder, we haf to be keerful cuz it's easier to go up than down.

Flynn: I am better at going down ladders than Eric.If he tries to go down too quick, he ends up down the bottom quicker than he meant to.

The random photo this week has been chosen by the Trout Towne Tabbies who asked for 14.02.09 and shows one of Flynn's weird and wonderful sleeping positions.

I am using this photo for Caturday Art with Athena, the Cat Goddess.

I started with Beauty at 40% then added Dreaming 20%.

  5. Excellent work!

Your comment that Dad says bad words when the string breaks reminds me of the child who wrote a letter to G-d asking if her daddy would go to heaven if he used his bowling words in the house.
