Keeping Warm.

I don't like all the very cold weather we are getting, so this is how I keep warm. I get told off because I get too close to the fire and end up with curly whiskers.

I am joining Athena the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.

For Flynn I used the Life Art Effect at 70%, then added Emboss at 50%.

Eric started with Illusion at 55%, then Scribble at 35%.

  1. MOL! Yeah, flies sometimes annoy us too. We know we cats are "sweet", but we sure arent sugar cubes!

But we usually get them. Amazingly, so does TBT sometimes, and by paw, er hand. I suppose we shouldnt be too surprized. After decades of playing with cats, he has "fast paws" too.

  14. I can't help wondering if that fly was actually a fairy. :D

  15. If flies there are like the flies here, Flynn was probably bothered by another soon after...

  16. That was a cute flashback. Flies are a pain. Beautiful art. Thank you for the puzzles. XO

  17. Angel Flynn sure did show that pesky fly! And Angel Eric knew just the place to go to stay warm. :)

  18. Yes, Flynn, it sure is annoying when all a body is trying to do is relax in the shade and here comes a pesky fly! Eric, that fireplace sure looks cozy and inviting. Mom's catwork as always is so nice. I hope Mom and Dad are doing well. Until next time...Jean

  21. Flynn was a good fly hunter. Flies are a nice snack. And Eric knew what was a good heat place. Beau Beau used to get curly whiskers too sometimes.

  22. Flies really are a Pesky Nuisance, aren't they?

The art is beautiful, as always.

  23. Flies are such buzzy pests!! We snap at them! Petcretary claps them between her hands, LOL!

We don't have a fireplace, but we do love to lie in front of the furnace vents, which annoys *her*, she says it blocks the warmth from getting to her, BOL!

  24. Flies are so annoying and they get you in trouble too as when you are busy chasing them down to exterminate them sometimes a cat (or dog) knocks Mom's stuff down.

  25. I laughed all over again at Flynn and Eric as well with his curly whisker possibilities! (hope not!!) Flynn, I think your threats helped with his demise!

  26. What a cute series of shots! That fly got it in the end though! No getting by Flynn.

  27. Your Caturday Art is impeccable, as usual. They always look like paintings, ready to be hung on the wall. This is a very sweet post of Flynn and The Fly. It could be made into a 'gif' quite easily if you have the software to do it. Those flies are very pesky and think they can get away with anything. Good for Flynn for getting him in the end.

And Eric seeking warmth is quite heartwarming.

  28. We absolutely love this serious of photos. It's so funny, as a human would just get up and move. Glad that fly got what he deserved. We didn't know that getting close to the fire would curl whiskers. Angel Chloe got too close to the gas stove one time and singed a few of hers. Thanks for the puzzles. Yours are always our mom's favorites. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh

  30. Cat love chasing flies. My kitten once went crazy over a fly that circled over her head, chirping and stretching her furry neck. She leapt and landed in the water bowl.

  31. MOL...that was a real good fly of a story, sweet Angel Flynn😸Now stay warm you two...oh, both of your artworks are very beautiful🎨Double Pawkisses from us for all of you🐾😽💞

  32. We are now living in Florida, and because we have a Catio with two huge water bowls, we don't seem to get any flies. However, we do get baby dragons and they are a lot of fun to chase and catch. Except momma makes us drop them so she can put back outside. Between yoo and me, she's no fun. Love, Dori
