Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

This week the flashback is from January 2010 with a bonus video of Eric and his dad at the end.

We won one of Peggy's hairy blankies in the auction for Fiona and we have been eagerly waiting for it to arrive.
Flynn: Eric, quick come and look. There is a package and it's addressed to us.

Eric: What's in it. Can you get it out Flynn?

Flynn: Of course I can, that's not a problem for me.

Eric: It smells very interesting.

Flynn: It feels very comfy as well.

I like this blankie, I think it will be mine.

Yup, definitely mine all mine.

Hmm, I keep smelling nip but all I can see is this little ball that Peggy put in with the blankie. I discovered that the little ball is made of nip and you can chew it!!!!

This is my blogging place before. Mum put a gaudy old beach towel there for me to nap on.

This is my blogging place now. Much more comfy.

Just right for bathing on.

And of course for napping on. Thank you Peggy for donating it so we had chance to win it.

And now the bonus Eric video, also from January 2010.

Dad likes to relax in the recliner on a Sunday morning and there is nothing I like better than spending a bit of man time with him.

I am joining Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.

I used Ceremony at 50%, then Beauty at 35%.

For Flynn I used two old favourites, Flow at 50%, then Scribble at 20%.

My AI art this week is ginger cat rolling in grass.

I don't know quite what they did with his left leg, but at least the eyes are right. Any with "dead" eyes get deleted.

  2. oh that looks like a magic blankie... maybe with the right spell it can fly? or maybe it can make you invisible? or it serves snacks and treats every time when you are hungry?

  5. Those boys certainly knew what a great gift they had received in the mail. They look so fun with it. And you did great artwork with the photos. It's lovely that you have videos to look back on now that the boys have turned into angels.

  11. What adorable photos of the boys and the bonus video was so sweet. As you know, my Sammy was a bit of a lap cat but Teddy isn't happy to be picked up or held......maybe that's a good thing since he weighs almost 30 lbs. !! So happy to see the boys again AND their Dad!

    Hugs, Pam

  16. It looks like you both won on this post. Flynn got the comfy blanket, and Eric got Dad;s lap. We think we would like to nap on Mom' or Dad's lap too, but we are too big.

  17. The only thing a cat loves better than a box is a blanket.

  26. Your cats remind me of the cat of a friend of ours named Moose. (The cat, not our friend) We do not have a cat but if we did, we would like one like Mooses.

  27. I love my Peggy blankie like no other!!! Mine is dark blue and white. I sent one to Austin in Wales and to another kitty friend in NJ. That video was so extra extra nice. Now would have put my paper down probably and devoted both hands to scrirtching and petting. Maybe.
