Friday Flashback and Caturday Art

This week I have 4 very short posts that all come from January 2010.

First is Eric with a Tummy Tuesday, followed by a Mancat Monday.

Tummy Tuesday

First we had lots of thick ice, then we had snow, then the heavy rain came and washed it all away. The first day it stopped raining mum took us for a walk. It was so good to get back out in the fields and have a good roll.

I found some fresh pheasant poop and rolled in it. If you look carefully you might just be able to see the black mark on my neck. It wasn't so good when we went back indoors cuz mum rubbed and rubbed to get it off. It was worth it though.

Mancat Monday.

Keeping a lookout for mousies. (You can see the pheasant poop on my neck in this photo.)

Then comes Flynn with a Wordless Wednesday, followed by Toesies Tuesday.

Wordless Wednesday, Lasers on full.

Toesies Tuesday.
If you want a photo of my toesies you'd better make it snappy, I need a nap.

Right, time's up.

I am joining Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.

For Eric I started with Landscape at 60%, then added Fantasy at 40%.

For Flynn I used Mosaic at 50% then Lily at 30%.

I can't remember the text I used for AI art but this was best of the four that I did.

  1. There's nothing like rolling in something stinky to make an animal's day. I've known several cats and dogs that all loved to do it.

Thank you for joining Feline Friday!

  3. The boys were in top form, first Eric showing his tummy and then Flynn showing his toes. Good pictures! I chuckled over the pheasant poop. ("It was worth it, though"... Ha!)

  7. What great pictures your mum got of tootsies and tummies. Since we do not like snow and ice in the winter time, it was good post to see this was after it all melted and went away.

  8. Those were all particularly wonderful photos, and I loved the video. There's nothing like a good roll in the dirt! Not so sure about the pheasant poop, though. LOL.

The artwork is wonderful as always; you have a knack for choosing the best filter combinations!

  12. Oh no, not rolling around in the pheasant poop! When we walk our dog Guster and the big parks around here, we have to make sure he doesn't roll around in all of the goose poop.

  16. Ah, yes the poop rolling technique!! Angel MJF was an expert at finding big piles of deer poop to roll in, Euuw! Time for a bath...
Our kitties didn't get that pleasure...and the current woofies don't either, the deer do not jump our fence...which we didn't have when MJF found the goods...rabbit candies and others are in good supply, though...

Great flashbacks!! That orange AI kitty is pretty pawsome!

  17. Your pheasant poop comment reminded me of the turkeys that visit our house occasionally. Zoey loves to run around and gobble up all their poop once they leave. Then she goes and licks momma's face to share her prizes with her!

  18. Oh my goodness! Look at those precious toesies! Fiona likes to show hers off quite a bit, along with her white glove. Also, I just read your health update on the previous post. That is great news!! :-)

  23. Great tummy shots but don't approve of what you rolled around in. When time to sleep no time for cameras!

  24. We loved all the flashbacks today. Eric's roll video was our favorite (though we're sorry that pheasant poop got in the way!

  27. Love the stories and photos. What a crazy thing so many pets do. Our long haired chihuahua Loki, loves finding yucky stuff to roll around in. Cause his mom, our middle daughter will bathe him. He is the boss.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Bear never rolled in poop, but he did in mud! I thought that was only a dog thing! And forget about trying to give him a bath.

  29. The Good Time Brothers....I so enjoy their stories here.
