This flashback is from February 2010 and was a Mancat Monday.
We are on our way back home after taking mum out for a walk.
Flynn is marching on with food on his mind when I suddenly spotted molehills.
I often poop in them because the earth is nice and soft and easy to dig....
but today I just felt like playing in them. There's nothing that feels as good as earth in your fur and between your toes.

That was a fun outting, well, except to the moles! Thank you for the well wishes for our sweet Brian.
ReplyDeleteI never thought of mole hills as being good "outhouses". Lol.
ReplyDeleteLove the art, as always!
LOL i must remember that next time i see a molehill this flashback made me smile :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a pooplesstastic weekend 👍
Very interesting that you two take your Mom our for a walk ... we used to think it t'was the other way around. Guess we were wrong ...
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love seeing a cat tail waving in the air! And 2 to boot! Soft loam would be a great potty spot, but simply playing in it is way more fun. What an exciting day that must have been.
ReplyDeleteHow kind you two were, to take your meowmy for a walk!
ReplyDeleteYour art is lovely, and I'll attack those puzzles just as soon as possible (darn work has to come first *eyeroll*)
I bet it would be fun to play in the dirt!
ReplyDeleteGreat flashback. We're sure that dirt felt great!
ReplyDeleteThose long cat shadows are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYou two handsome GingerMEN cast big shadows that we all loved following.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Jackie and Ivor
Cecilia & Bryan
Frodo loves digging up the molehills in my garden too!
ReplyDeleteYou boys are my most favorite mancats ever! (but you know that).
ReplyDeleteOur pups like to dig up the mole mounds, too... Does that AI kitty want to come inside??
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like digging in soft dirt, is there. Thank you for joining Feline Friday!
ReplyDeleteI could not agree with you more on the statement "There is nothing that feels as good as the earth between your toes"
ReplyDeleteHmm, and how did the moles feel about that?
ReplyDeleteI know your mom just loved going on walks with you!
ReplyDeleteeric….dood….we hafta add mit that earth on yur furz
ReplyDeleteand toez iz like total lee waaaaaaaaaaaay better
N fezz ant poopz…..and flynn…dood..we hope ewe catched a lot oh snax that day 🐟💙‼️🍀
Such fun memories. Seems the boys knew how to make an adventure out of just ordinary outings, such as taking Mom for a walk. Mom's catwork is very nice. I hope Mom and Dad are both doing well. Until next time...Jean
ReplyDeleteEric was right: soft, fresh earth is a delight - but not really for pooping in...
ReplyDeleteCute flashback. Very pretty art. Thanks for the puzzles. XO
ReplyDeleteWe have never experienced it but #1 confirms that molehill earth is lovely. She will often store it to use as potting soil.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
I never met a mole, but my brother Fwank used to dig for moles in our yard before he got adopted. Daddy would tell him Go Get It cuz it chewed up his lawn pretty awful.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that you take your mum for a walk! Lovely art as always.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. Soft dirt feels so nice, right? How nice of Eric and Flynn to have taken Mum for a walk. XO
ReplyDeleteIt was furry good of the boys to take Mum out for walkies!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are lovely - especially the way the boys' shadows go before them.
as long as you didn't bring that dirt into the house!! (kidding!!) ((((hugs))))
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to see your two boys out in the open again. The shadows give these photos extra interest. Your art piece is softer in nature, and gives it a whole new feeling of lightness overall. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Flynn's toes are on Dani's Funnies from Friday. Hugs XO
What an EPIC flashback guys, we love reliving your adventures, they are so furbulous! Supurr art too, and the AI creation is superb!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely true, Angel Eric, we like that too...not that we have molespoophopes here though...😸Double Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead, Jackie🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteYou two looked very much like me - but I am a girl cat. My old woman says that's quite unusual for a ginger/orange cat - but I do have quite a lot of white on me. Your boys were SO gorgeous. xx
ReplyDeleteDon't make a mountain out of a molehill ... or something like that :)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog
ReplyDeleteOur weather here in eastern Canada is beautiful and warm today - that could change of course - but we'll take it! we enjoyed your flashback and art today, thanks for sharing.
