This week is a double flashback. It was originally published in July 2008, and then I used it as a flashback in February 2010. I can't believe I have been doing Friday Flashbacks for over 15 years!
Mancat Monday.
If you biggify the first pikchur you can see the worm I wuz playing with the other day. When I have finished playing with the worm, I like to go in the fields hunting furr mousies.
They hide in the long grass.
You have to be sure to check the hedges as well. They often hide in there.
Eric likes to spend his time relaxing under the little table............
and relaxing.........................
And while I was hunting mousies in the field, he relaxed in the barn.
And when he found the cases were out when our Beans were going on their Holly Days, he relaxed on them too.
After all Eric's relaxing and my hunting, now I need to relax too.
I am joining Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.

I am also joining MessyMimi for the blog hop.
What a fun flashback! I can see how Flynn needed to rest after all the hunting.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, thank you for joining Feline Friday! After 10 months, you'd think I'd remember better to say that.
DeleteWe humans always marvel as how much chillaxin' cats do after a little bit of exertion, Angle Fellas!
ReplyDeleteOff to puzzle...pretty art, and thanks.
The farm is full of fun activities for such wonderful and imaginative cats. Well, Flynn was imaginative, at least...
ReplyDeletethat is a super relaxing post... playing with a worm is something special... its like bein a snake tamer... and that needs a good nap after the session ;O)
ReplyDeleteThat's only right that one of you would be hard at work hunting while the other one was taking a snooze every place he can find. Terrific pictures of you both
ReplyDeleteThose boys always had so much fun in the yard and fields.
ReplyDeleteMOL we see a theme here.
ReplyDeleteWooHoo this is new to me. I didn't start blogging until 2009. Eric I love how you have it made in the shade
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
Wow and congrats on 15 years! I never tire of seeing the boys. Nice Ai too!
ReplyDeleteWell, Flynn, good hunting always deserves a good rest. As does contemplating your world (Eric!) Mom's catwork is nice. Hope Mom and Dad are both doing well. Until next time...Jean

ReplyDeleteDid the worm survive playtime? ;)
ReplyDeleteThose boys were always busy, busy, busy. Thank you so much for your kind words on the passing of our dear Brian. We all sincerely appreciate your kindness and your friendship.
ReplyDeleteDad Terry
Cute flashback. Beautiful art. Thank you the puzzles. XO
ReplyDeleteNo one can see you when you are under an end table
ReplyDeleteI'm certain I saw my comment here after I had made it... Anyway, it's certain that hunting can make one want to relax a bit afterward. I'm not sure what Eric had been doing to need relaxing...
ReplyDeleteThank you for finding my missing comment. Blogger is odd sometimes. Most of the comments made on my blog show up in my email as notifications, as I indicated in my settings. There are commentators, however, whose remarks never do, no matter what settings I give them. I have to remember to check my Blogger account. Now - get this - all my email notifications of comments show up in my email as coming from the Eastside Cats. The actual comments are correct, and within the comment, the assignment to the commentator is correct. But my email says they are all coming from the Eastside Cats...
ReplyDeleteWe really like that second photo. We think it looks like a painting!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Playing with worms and hunting mousies sounds fun. And exhausting! We can see why you would need a rest. Love seeing your angels Eric and Flynn; we love and miss them so.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun you had! Love the art and that AI art came out amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like such fun, playing with a worm! Sometimes, worms get into Our Apawtment. We have no idea how, because Se are on the top floor! But if Mummy sees them, She doesn't let Us play with them, She scoops them up with the dustpan and throws them into the garden!
ReplyDeleteWow, we almost missed this post!! Hunting worms?? That's interesting. Did you try to nosh on it too??
ReplyDeleteThat AI itty is really good! Way better than the ones I've tried to 'compose'...
I hunt worms too, Angels Eric and Flynn😸Loved all your pictures and your Geomatric artwork, that's a cool filter! Extra Pawkisses just for you🐾😽💞
