Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

 This week the flashback comes from April 2010 and is called:

Looking for Mousies.

I have found a hole and I am looking to see if any mousies are in it.

There's nothing in it. Flynn told me it's not even a mouse hole but I think he is just trying to fool me.

I will sit here and listen out for them.

Silly Eric had his head down a hole that the horsies had made when they pulled a big clump of grass up.

Shh, I think I hear a mousie.

This is a real mouse hole. I'm not silly like Eric. I think he is hiding in here but don't worry, I can wait for him to come out, I'm not in any hurry.

I used Rembrandt at 45%, then added Flow at 35% for Eric.


For Flynn it was Monet at 60%, then Surreal at 40%

    Eric and Flynn no doubt perfected their hunting skills.
    It is incredible how long any kitty can sit near a mouse hole... but patience often did pay off. Our Angel Speckie was the mouser—she brought me many under loud announcements.

    I hope they caught that mousie and maybe one or two more. My chipmunk is up and running around outside the windows now. I'd love to catch it. Precious

    We love these photos and Flynn's determination. All the little holes in our yard are chipmunk burrows, not that we get to check them out. We actually shared a photo from 10 years ago with a mouse in the house. Your art turned out great. Thanks for the puzzles. Mom always enjoys doing them.     I loved the background, and underground, stories in today's post. Eric was very committed to his hunt. Such a patient guy, too. I like the first art piece best because it really is a beautiful representation of Eric.

    They'd have fun on our yard...we have lots of mole mounds and trails to investigate...dfresh ones...soon Benji will likely dig them out...he makes more mess in the yard that the moles, LOL!
