Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

This week the Flashback comes from May 2010 and is called:

My Secret Hiding Place.

When it has been very cold lately it is hard to find somewhere good to keep warm. The other day I found the airing cupboard door open and before you could say 'Where's Flynn?' I was in there. Oh it is lovely with all the nice clean warm towels to snuggle on. Nobody knows about this secret place.

Uh-oh, I think I may have been spotted. Surely she wouldn't make me move. If I keep very still and quiet, she may think she imagined seeing me in here.

Aww go on mum, it's cold out there. You wouldn't make a poor freezing kitty get out of such a nice warm bed would you? Thanks mum! She let me stay.

Of course I won't leave Eric out so here is a video of him getting chin and whisker scritches.

My dad gives the best whisker scritches ever. His chin scritches are pretty good too.

  1. Dearest Eric and Flynn,
Such precious memories and Flynn was a smart but naughty kitty to hide on the shelfs with towels.
Eric got a Spa–Day with his Dad.
Happy boys and that makes for lasting memories.
    Hugs,
    Mariette + Kitties

  2. Of course, they get to stay in the warm, clean laundry. And get scritches.

  6. It was lovely to see that Flynn got such a warm cuddly spot on a big fluffy towel. And how terrific that Eric could sit on his dad's legs and get all those itches scratched. Precious just loves to get her ears and chin and belly scratched first thing in the morning after a big helping of breakfast.

  17. Flynn looks so cozy in hs secret hiding place, and I must say Eric's Pa has quite the extensive head scritchens. Very thorough! I'm loving both of the art pieces, but the bright pinks in Flynn's seem to appeal to me aesthetically.

  22. OH ERIC...Me, Katie could almost feel those crutches too! Oh my, that had to be heavenly and Flynn...of course she let you stay! You two are the rulers around there after all. I hope both of your rose bushes come out nicely this year. XX

  23. One of my cats is fascinated with opening and closing the kitchen cabinets. One day she made her way inside one of them. It was just filled with pots and pans, nothing I would classify as comfortable. Lol. Guess it was a lot for her to explore! :)
