We have been on holiday for just over 2 weeks which is why I haven't done much commenting lately. Hopefully I am getting back to normal now.
Two short posts today(sorry Tabbies)
The first is Eric from April 2010
I'm waiting for the pheasant to jump up by the daffodils. He comes to eat the bird seed that has fallen from the feeders. I know he is hiding behind the tree. Maybe I will go out and chase him off.
Then Flynn with Fevvers from May 2010.
Do you remember the pheasant who keeps introoding into our garden?I am joining Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.

I am also joining MessyMimi for the blog hop.
What fun and look at all those fevvers!!!! Such fun art too!
ReplyDeleteOh, my, that was some productive pheasant chasing, wasn't it. I'm sure he was more careful not to invade your space after this incident.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up with Feline Friday!
Dearest Jackie,
ReplyDeleteEric seriously contemplating and trying to chase off the intruding pheasant.
Oops, Flynn took a bite of said pheasant the next month—he must have observed him very well for making this move. WOW!
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
Flynn was quick, but I'm glad the pheasant was quicker...
ReplyDeleteHmmm, one would ask if the introoder made off with his life and only left those few feathers, or if the feathers are all that were left of him...
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful two-week trip someplace very beautiful. But I don't think it could be near as beautiful as these photos of the boys. That taught that pushy bird that it can't be in Flynn's yard.
ReplyDeleteWow, look at all the fevvers! Great job at chasing him off!
ReplyDeleteI hope the trip was wonderful and that we'll see pics on your travel blog!
de fezz ant waz nothin but trubullz doodz….him prob a blee waz even try ta steel dadz tractor. good job eric on keepin N eye on him, and flynn, thanx bee ta cod ya
ReplyDeletedinna get dizz eez frum thoz skinz πππΌπΌ‼️ππ
MOL MOL the moral to this story is if you don't have prior approval to enter my yard you will leave a few fevvers short in your tail fevvers
ReplyDeleteWelcome back
Hugs Cecilia
No introoders allowed!
ReplyDeleteNever mind fur, it was feathers that were flying that day!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Happy holidays! Such beautiful photos of the boys and their terrain. Mom's artwork is stunning, especially the portrait of Eric. It really is worthy of being framed and displayed. Hope Mom and Dad are both well. Until next time...Jean
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your holiday. Did you go anywhere exotic?
ReplyDeleteHow exciting ! We would love to meet a pheasant ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteOh no, that feather photo! MOL!
ReplyDeleteYikes about the feathers! Good work chasing away the pheasant!
ReplyDeleteWow, what wonderful adventures they had! :)
ReplyDeleteYou showed him!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That is a lot of feathers. Nice flashback. Thanks for the puzzles. XO
ReplyDeleteI hope your holidays were good. Oh what fun. There is a new Garfield movie out!
ReplyDeleteFlynn! The mighty vicious bird chaser - woo hoo! Love the photos......never a dull moment for these boys.....
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Great view and lovely art. Hope you had a nice holiday.
ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn, you boys sure did show that pheasant. Look at all those fevvers! We hope you had a nice holiday, Jackie and Ivor. :)
ReplyDeleteWe're almost sorry for that pheasant birdie (mol).
ReplyDeleteLovely art, as always!
I love that picture of Eric from behind. I hope the pheasant survived even if he does need more feathers.
ReplyDeleteAs for the art, I am attracted to the contrast in colours, i.e., the orange and blue, in Flynn's picture. Well done, as always. Hope you enjoyed your vacation.
Bird TV!! And Flynn you sure surprised that pheasant!!
ReplyDeleteAs Bear always said ... flightless birds are so much easier to catch. Not that he would know. But that never stopped him from offering his opinion.
ReplyDeleteThose birds need to know their place!
ReplyDeleteEric was so close, yet so far!
