Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

 This week the flashback comes from August 2010 and was called:

Sunny Saturday.

The rain has stopped at long last and mum took us for a walk. We haven't been out much because the weather has been so bad and it was great to get out in the grass again.

The grass has got long again. It should have been cut to make hay for the horses but you need dry sunny days for that.

All the walking and hiding in the grass made me thirsty so I had to stop at the horse trough for a drink of water.

Flynn didn't go looking for any mousies. He was to busy enjoying his bath in the sun.

Then I saw dad by the trailer so I went over for a cuddle. I hope the sun stays for a while.

For Eric and Dad I used Landscape at 45%, then Sparks at 40%.


For Flynn I used Reds at 40%, then Illusion at 30%.

    The boys sure did enjoy their beautiful countryside - hunting, resting, climbing - they had it all. Love the cuddle photo with Dad......so very very sweet.

    Eric, you and Dad looked so comfy on that trunk tail gate. And what tall grass! We have such a drought that the mowers drove by yesterday took a quick peek and kept going away. And Flynn, a quiet wash in the sunlight must have been purrfect. Precious is at this moment out in the early morn moon light looking fur her furst moth of the day. Makes her breakfast complete.

    The long grass looks like fun to explore, a jungle cat on the prowl! It's also a comfy cushion, the perfect place to pause for some sun bathing. So you both got to enjoy it in your own ways. 😻

    Nice... After 3 days of relentless rain in Raleigh we are happy to have the sun partly out.

    What I got out of it: Angels Eric and Flynn's arty selves are splendid. What dad got out of it: he wishes the grasses 'round these parts looked like the grass in these sunny photos so he could mow.
