Flynn has the main post this week from December 2010. Eric gets a video with his dad at the end.
Flynn: Keeping Warm.
Eric and Dad with Chin Scritches.
Sometimes Dad gets in my recliner before I get chance to sit in it. I let him stay there for a while though as long as he gives me ear and whisker scritches. I get excited and bite his knuckles most times, so this time he offered me his hand. I knew it was a trap to get my knuckle nibbling on film so I refused.
Mum found a photo of me nibbling for my art.
Turn the sound up and you can hear Eric's very quiet purr.

That was some nice warming and such a happy time with Papa. Hugs from all of us!
ReplyDeleteFlynn, I must be part cat because I am always trying to keep warm, too.
ReplyDeleteEric, your daddy sure knew how to give scritches, my cats would say I need lessons.
Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!
I'd say Flynn knew exactly how to get warmed up on a cold day. Nothing better than sitting on Dad's lap and getting ears rubbed. That made for a happy Eric. Happy Friday
ReplyDeleteFlynn, I have done exactly the same thing when visiting friends in the winter! They keep their home quite cool, so I would settle in a sunny window, behind the curtains, to try to warm up. Lol.
ReplyDeleteEric, that video put a smile on my face! Your dad sure gave you awesome scritches!
It's very considerate of Mum to keep a butt-warmer by her work station, did you meow your thanks? As for the knuckle-biter other-one, have you been sending some messages down to June lately ... OMC, stop please! Her Mom has enough trouble with her hands ...
ReplyDeleteFlynn found not only a spot to try and stay warm...it was a good hiding spot too. And I'm with Eric...chin scritches feel so good. ~Murphy
ReplyDeleteSweet photos and great video.
ReplyDeleteWow, Angel Eric had a spa treatment by The Dad!
ReplyDeleteCats behind curtains are always adorable. And those were some excellent ear, chin and whisker scritches!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jackie for just sharing that truly beautiful story of "Eric and his tree". It touched my heart and yes, I too, am sure he knew ...
ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn what a precious flashback of you two Ginger's and all the things that made you happy
ReplyDeleteEric your motor is running on high octane for sure.
Happy Friday Jackie and Ivor

ReplyDeletethat was an intense whisker work out you had there, Eric. And routers are a fav for many a cat. Our's sits upright these days so definitely ill designed, MOL.

The art is really beautiful! Flynn found some excellent places for keeping warm! We like to sit on the TV digital converter - the router is inaccessible. We bet Eric enjoyed those wonderful scritches.
ReplyDeleteEric, I loved seeing every second of that! I can sure see how much you loved every bit of that from your dad. MY mom bribes me with head stuffs too so that I am in a dream state just about by the time I get my methemazole.
ReplyDeleteNow we know what we need Angel Flynn...a router where we can sit on for the heatπΊLoved that video, what an extensive scratchsage Angel EricπΈGreat artwork, we especially like the combination of the first one. The puzzles are on the list for tonight, can't wait to put the pieces together. Double Pawkisses for a Happy and Healthy Day, JackieπΎπ½π
