Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

This flashback comes from April 2012 and was originally an Easy Like Sunday.
Eric: This can't be right! I'm the biggest mancat and I've ended up on the old smaller cat tree.

Flynn: This new tree is lovely and comfy with plenty of room for napping. Zzzzzzzzzz.

Eric: At last! That's much better.

Flynn: Hmphh! Might be for you.

Note: The novelty of the new tree soon wore off and Eric went back to his favourite old tree and so both were happy.

I am joining Athena the Cat Goddess for the Caturday Art blog hop.

As usual I used Lunapic and started with Scribble at 25%, then added Landscape at 55% to bring more colour back into it. I finished with Sadness at 35%. It is the first time I have used that effect but I like the way it gave the lines more definition. I think I will be using it more in the future.

Sunday Selfie and Easy.

I am feeling sleepy so I just got my selfie done before I get my easy on.

Okay, it's snooze time now.

Sunday Selfie and Easy Like Sunday..

I am joining the Kitties Blue for the Sunday Selfie today.

A naughty mouse in the grass kept distracting me, so I had to multi-task and try and watch it and take my selfie at the same time.

Then it was back indoors to warm up in front of the fire and get my easy on.

I am having a nice easy in the recliner by the fire. Mum reminded me I have to do my selfie, but I am nice and warm here and don't really want to move.

Oh okay then, but it's a raspberry selfie seeing as my easy was disturbed.

I'm trying to get my selfie right but I think I'm a bit too close.

Hmmm, that's too blurred.

Getting better but still blurred. I know! I'll get dad to help me.

That's better so now I can get on with my Easy.

I like to nap on the laptop case.

Mum put a towel on it so it is more comfy for me.

Easy Like Sunday and Selfies.

We have had lots of rain this week, but it stopped for a while and the sun came out so I took mum and dad for a walk.

I stopped for a while so I could enjoy it shining on me.

Then mum reminded me it was Sunday so I had a bath ready for my selfie.

Dad took the first one of all of us.

Then I took my own selfie. The sky looks lovely and blue behind me, but a few minutes later it poured down again and we all went running back indoors.

It is cold wet and windy out so I am taking it easy indoors.

I may have my back to you mum, but I know you are stood there with the flashy box.

My tail is asking when you are going to leave me in peace.

I need to practice my focus better, but mum says she quite likes my soft focus.

That was very thoughtful of you to put the paper here for me to nap on mum.

What do you mean, you are trying to read it. Can't you see I am nice and comfy? Now go and find something else to do.

Eric's chrysanthemums are in full flower now. They have grown really well this year and are about twice the size they were last year. When they have finished flowering mum will cut them back and put them in the greenhouse for the winter. She will have to space them out more in the Spring because they have almost hidden Eric's rose. You can see that there are still a few bedding plants left with flowers, but they have mostly gone over now.

These are the boxes of grass I have when my parents go off gallivanting and I can't get out in the garden for a munch. I still chew on them though even when I can eat the outdoor grass.

They make a very good bed too.

I remembered not to sniff the camera this week, but it is hard to look up when you are trying to find the button to push with your paw.
