Freedom!

My humans are back home again! That means I have my freedom back and can start re-scenting all the places that the intruders have been. I want some cuddles with dad before I do that though.

See my claws? I was making air biscuits and purring up a storm. I have missed all my friends and hope you haven't forgotten me.

Sunday Selfies

This week I am joined by my dad.

Dad Time in the Field.

I was relaxing in the field...

when I saw dad walking towards me.

He gave me some ear rubs,

and some tummy tickles.

Mum thinks it might have been backlit and the camera took multi images and she probably didn't keep the camera still.

Sunday Selfies

This week dad said he would help me.

Man Time.

I am glad my humans are back from their holidays because it means I can get out in the fields again.

It was hot so dad laid on the grass and we had a bit of a cuddle.

Then he played with me.

He was talking to me too telling me he had missed me when they were away.

He tickled my head with a weed....

but I pretended not to notice.

I like to just lie beside him and enjoy the evening sun.

Why are you looking at me like that dad?

Huh! He has put a flower on my head.

He thinks I haven't noticed, but I will get my own back before too long.

I was getting ready for my selfie when my dad insisted on joining me. Last week I got photo bombed by a weed, this week it is my dad. Whatever will happen next week?

My Health Update

I have been on my thyroid tablets for 3 weeks now and I went back for another blood test last Friday. In the UK we use a different set of numbers for the TT4 test and the normal is between 18 and 25. When I had the last test my result was 55 so quite high. The vet rang my mum yesterday with my latest results. Can you see me and my dad smiling? My reading is now 21. Right slap bang in the middle of normal! My kidney results are good too. That means that my 1 small tablet a day is the right dose for me.
I go for another check up and have my blood stolen again in 2 months time to make sure I am still on the right dose. If you look you can see my poor shaved throat.
The only thing that wasn't right is that I have traces of blood in my urine. That means I have to have antibiotics for 10 days in case I have an infection. After that mum has to chase me with her plastic container again to get another pee sample. She is very glad I pee standing up like a mancat when I am outdoors.

Easy Like Sunday.

I like it when dad gives me face rubs.

Hang on dad, it's supposed to be Tummy Tuesday, not tickle tummy.

Never mind, we will just have to have a tail and toesies instead.

Mancat Monday.

I was taking mum and dad for a walk in the fields.

We had to stop because dad wanted to tickle my tummy.

Then silly dad tried to make me smile like him.
It's a hard job but you have to humour the Beans to keep them happy.
