More Flynnie Fotos.

Here are some more of my photos I took the other day when I was wearing my camera.

This is looking out over the hill. There is a deep valley here where the grass ends and the other fields start from the field I am standing in.
I wanted to take a photo of dad behind the fence, but he said I have got enough photos of him and tried to hide behind the grass.

This is looking down to the river. I should have stood on something so I could get a better view. Maybe Eric will let me stand on him next time.

That's horse poop mountain up there.

When I got back I took a photo of mum's tomatoes before I got in my plant pot. Mum is fed up with all the rain and no sun. She says nearly September and they are only just starting to turn colour.

Flynn the Photographer.

I went out with the camera again and took a photo of Eric. He looked right at me which is more than he does for mum. Thanks Eric.

One of the horses was lame so I took a photo of the vet examining him.

I got a little bit closer but not too near because he was being trotted up and I didn't want to get splat.

On the way back I took a photo of dad's legs.

Then in the garden I took a photo of Eric's legs.

Then Eric laid down so I took another photo of him. I'm sorry I chopped your ears off Eric. I think you must have moved.

Flynn the Photographer - Dedicated to Emerson.

We scheduled our photographer post for midnight BST. This morning we turned on the computer and saw that our dear friend Mr R W Emerson has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Some of you may remember that it was Emerson who sent us our cat camera. We haven't taken any photos for a while so it feels that we were meant to take them yesterday and we dedicate this post to him.

Emerson suffered from serious heart problems and was taken far too young at only 3 years old. We send our love and purrs to his mum.
RIP Emerson.

**************************************************************************
Mum charged our camera up for us because we haven't taken any photos for quite some time. She has got it set to take a photo every minute and it will take 40 photos, so we wear it for 20 minutes each. If she gets 10 reasonable photos out of the set, she tells us we have done very well.

Flynn: It was my turn first so I took a photo on the path on the way down to the fields.

That is dad's roller by the gate for making the field go flat.

Huh! Trust Eric to walk in front of me!

Here is some nice tasty grass. It is good if you want to yak.

This is the horse poop heap. It is all the fresh poop that is picked up from the fields and is very stinky! The poop heap you saw us by the other day is the winter poop heap and has bedding with it and is not stinky.

There is Snowdon the horse and he is under our favourite climbing tree.

Mum told Eric it is his turn to wear the camera now so he said he would have a quick bath first.
He will show you his photos later in the week.

Eric and Flynn- Photographer Cats.

Mum charged our camera up so we can go out and take some more photos.

Wait for us mum!

Eric: It was my turn to wear the camera first but I was a bit tired, so I laid down and had a roll. The silly camera rolled with me.

This is our favourite climbing tree. Flynn goes right out on the tiny little branches right up the top. I only go up the big branches. Those are my whiskers you can see across the photo.

This is a close up of the tree. I am sharpening my claws on it.

Flynn: It was my turn next and I wanted to do some nature shots so I took this close up of the grass and the hardhead weeds (plantain).

Then I took a shot of this clover. There are no 4 leaf ones here, but mum has found 2 at different times.

I wanted to get a close photo of Eric but he must have moved because I missed his head.

He marched off in disgust.

Eric: Mum put the camera back on me so I could show Flynn how to take a good photo.
We hope you have enjoyed your walk with us.

Flynn's Fotos

Flynn: It is my turn to take the photos this week so I took a photo of the patio table on the way out. Mum is hoping that it will soon be warm enough to sit out there with a nice bottle of wine.

Then I went out into the field and took a photo with the sun shining. My sun has got a black spot like Eric's did as well.

This is our favourite place to sit because behind that fence are big fat white fevvers that poop out things that mum calls eggs. We would like to go and visit them but mum won't let us.

After we had watched the fevvers for a while, I went to the top of the field and looked back down so I could take a photo of the hay barn.

Then I looked the other way and took a photo of the river.

I wasn't very pleased with the photo of the hay barn because it was a bit dark, so I took another one with the tractor shed next to it. This one came out much better. That's it for this week. Eric will be showing his photos next week.

Flynn the Photographer.

Flynn: We had some sunny weather at last so mum asked who wanted to go walkies, and of course we told her we both did. She asked me if I wanted to wear the camera and I said okay. I gave it to Eric half way through so he could take some photos too. These are all mine. Eric will show his next Thursday.

I took my first photo of mum opening the gate in the purrison fence so we could get out of the garden. She said the perspective is really strange because it looks like it barely comes to her shoulder, but in fact it is eight feet high.
We met dad in one of the fields so I took his photo too. His head seems to have vanished into the sky. I think maybe I hadn't positioned the sun right. I will try not to make that mistake again.

Then I saw Silver and Buddy in their field so I took a photo of them.

Then Eric wanted to go in the hay barn so I was going to take a photo of him but he was too quick and I only got his butt.

I went in the hay barn as well and took a picture of the hay turner and the barbecue. Mum managed to get a bit of herself in the way too. I hope you like my photos. Now Eric is getting better at it we will try and take it in turns every Thursday.

This is why.........

This is why I get so many close up photos of grass.

I keep still so they come out clear, but sometimes I get too close to the grass and it comes out all black.
When I finish taking my close ups, I nom the grass.

Then I have a well earned rest. When the camera is full, the flashing light turns red so mum takes it off for me.
I was asked how my photos are so clear. The camera takes 40 when it is fully charged and there are usually about 8-10 clear ones where I am keeping still. Mum deletes the rest because they are very blurry if I run or pounce, or am too close to something. Mum tells me I am very good at it.

Flynn's Field Assignment.

I take my new career very seriously and walk around the fields looking for good shots. When I see something I like, I stand still to compose my shot and try to avoid camera shake. I may ask mum to get me a tripod for my birthday.
Mum let Eric have another go today but he had his face in the grass nomming all the time, then he went indoors and nommed his Stinky Goodness and got it all over the camera. He took 35 photos but all were too blurred or dark to make out what they were apart from 3. Mum is going to let him post them on Thursday. We will probably have Thursdays as the day we post our own photos.

If the video won't play, watch it on You Tube.
This is one of the photos I took.
