I started with Flow at 55% then added Sadness at 30%.
There is of course a puzzle. 108Caturday Art 06.06.20
Also, Peaches and Paprika made a beautiful slideshow of our boys if you haven't already seen it.
I am hoping that the video will play on You Tube even though it looks oversized here. If not you can see it on their website.
Update: I had to remove the video because it was too big to play here. Please visit the link to their website to watch it.
This week we have a video for you which comes from February 2011.
Wrasslin'
We enjoy a good rassle and out in the fields it is even better. Sometimes it looks like we get a bit rough with each other, but we're not really. It is just what mancats do.
This week the Flashback comes from January 2011 and is called:
Cube Fun. Flynn: We love our new cube, and I love this mousie too. It is different to any I have seen before and looks more like the mousies in the fields.
I like to hide in the cube and whap him.
I like the Kong Kicker mousie too. It makes crackly noises when I bunny kick it.
Eric: Move over Flynn, you're hogging the cube.
You've got too many toys in there, there won't be any room for me.
Good, he's gone. Now I can have a check of everything.
I am guarding the cube to keep Eric out. He can't come in until I say so.
If you have trouble viewing the video you can watch it here.
Attack the mousie! I had put lots of toys in the cube during the night and mum has put them back outside to see if I put them all in again tonight.

This week the flashback comes from December 2010 and is one of the few times we had snow and is called: It's Snow Joke!
When it snowed at the weekend, mum asked us if we would like to go out and play in it. IS SHE MAD??? We used to play in it when we were young and foolish, but we are older boys now with more sense. Anyway, she chucked us out the door! That shouldn't be allowed surely. Oh okay then, she opened the door and we made the mistake of going out to check it out.
Flynn: I ran right under the hedge where there was no snow.
Eric: And I went under the swing hammock.
Flynn: Mum kept trying to get photos of me under the hedge, so I had to move away from her. I tried to keep my feet out of the snow.
When I got to the end of the hedge, I had to walk on the nasty white stuff.
Yuk! I do not like this cold stuff one bit.
I don't care what she says, I'm heading back indoors.
Eric: Good idea, I'm coming too.
Okay mum, so we've been out and walked in it, now take it away again.
Hang on a minute Flynn, there's an interesting smell here.
For goodness sake Eric, never mind the smells, lets get back in by the fire.
Mum was not just content with turning us out in the snow, she had to film the indignity too. You can see at the end I saw the garage door was open and couldn't wait to get in, but I did do my full garden perimeter patrol first.

This Flashback comes from January 2008 and is of Eric catching his very own mousie instead of relying on me. I hope the video plays as we don't seem to have it on You Tube.
When I was in the field with mum, I thought I heard something in the grass. It was a mouse! I listened carefully then I pounced. I caught it all on my own. It wasn't Flynn, it was me. And here's a video clip of me with my very own mousie.
See Flynn I can catch them for myself.
It has taken a long time to be able to watch videos of Eric again, but he was having such fun that it deserves to be shown again.
Mum always leaves the Chris Mouse tree and the decorations until Twelfth Night. I was sorry to see the tree come down, but I knew it was important to make sure my smell was properly on it before it was put away. We will miss all the cat toys on it. Goodbye Chris Mouse tree, see you next Christmas.

We have a box where we keep all our toys, but I like to keep some in the bottom of the cat tree so I always have something to play with. I put them in the cube as well.
It is difficult to know which to play with first so I play with them all together.
Sometimes when I play I notice a bit of dirt on my foot that I missed earlier, so I have to stop and clean it.
You should have told me you want a photo mum and I would have posed for you earlier.
If you turn your sound up you will hear me purr. My tail touched a crinkle ball in the bottom of the cat tree near the end of the video and I had to stop and see what touched me.
You can watch on You Tube here if you have trouble with the video loading.
I take my new career very seriously and walk around the fields looking for good shots. When I see something I like, I stand still to compose my shot and try to avoid camera shake. I may ask mum to get me a tripod for my birthday. Mum let Eric have another go today but he had his face in the grass nomming all the time, then he went indoors and nommed his Stinky Goodness and got it all over the camera. He took 35 photos but all were too blurred or dark to make out what they were apart from 3. Mum is going to let him post them on Thursday. We will probably have Thursdays as the day we post our own photos.
If the video won't play, watch it on You Tube. This is one of the photos I took.

Sometimes Dad gets in my recliner before I get chance to sit in it. I let him stay there for a while though as long as he gives me ear and whisker scritches. I get excited and bite his knuckles most times, so this time he offered me his hand. I knew it was a trap to get my knuckle nibbling on film so I refused.

Mum took this video 3 months ago and never got around to posting it. Flynn is a very good tree climber and can run down as fast as he goes up. Mum tells me I am like a camel in a tree so I wanted to show her how well I can go up there too. Uh oh, I forgot I am not very good at coming back down. She has had to help me back down several times and thought she would have to get the ladder for me. Don't worry, I got down safely on my own right after the video ran out. If the video won't play for you, you can see it here.
Last year when our Beans met Grr, Midnight and Cocoa's mum, they sent home a tweety bird for us. It usually stays on the next to top shelf of our cat tree and we can lean over and whap it. When it gets whapped, it makes tweety noises. Sometimes dad gets hold of it and we play with it together. I like it when he waves it around.
We are ginger and white brothers and enjoy sharing our adventures together walking in the fields. Sadly Eric left for the Rainbow Bridge on 19.03.2013. I joined my brother on 1st May 2017 so now we are together again for all time.
