My lovely friend
Nellie told me she was visiting
Speedy last week. As I only live about 15 miles from him she asked if she could come and see me this week. Of course I told her I would love to see her.
I went for a walk in the fields to check out the mousie situation before she got here and then I could hear her calling to me.
I ran over to her and we had a quiet walk together. She enjoyed the feel of the grass between her toes after all the snow she has at home.
Then I watched while she had fun catching spiders.
Then we finished our walk in the best way by having a lovely dust bath followed by a snooze in the sun. When we woke up I told her to wait because I had another surprise for her.....
A nice juicy freshly caught mousie.
She was ever so pleased with it and said it was the bestest present.
