Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

 Before this week's flashback I just want to say that on 20th July it will be our 19th Blogoversary. Who knew I would still be posting all these years later!

This was our very first post.

This week the post comes from February 2011 and is called:

Flynn, the Photographer.

Flynn: We had some sunny weather at last so mum asked who wanted to go walkies, and of course we told her we both did. She asked me if I wanted to wear the camera and I said okay. I gave it to Eric half way through so he could take some photos too. These are all mine. Eric will show his next Thursday.

I took my first photo of mum opening the gate in the purrison fence so we could get out of the garden. She said the perspective is really strange because it looks like it barely comes to her shoulder, but in fact it is eight feet high.

We met dad in one of the fields so I took his photo too. His head seems to have vanished into the sky. I think maybe I hadn't positioned the sun right. I will try not to make that mistake again.

Then I saw Silver and Buddy in their field so I took a photo of them.

Then Eric wanted to go in the hay barn so I was going to take a photo of him but he was too quick and I only got his butt. (Top right corner.)

I went in the hay barn as well and took a picture of the hay turner and the barbecue. Mum managed to get a bit of herself in the way too. I hope you like my photos. Now Eric is getting better at it we will try and take it in turns every Thursday.

*For those that didn't know Eric, he had a passion for rolling in pheasant poop! The times I grabbed him and had to wash it off in the horse drinking trough! You can see it under his chin.

Mancat Monday, Award and Blogoversary.

Blogoversary.
Mum helped us with our post for today and scheduled it then went back to our home page. We suddenly saw it! Our countdown button was telling us it is our Third Blogoversary today and we nearly forgot. Mum had to do a photo quick and add it before midnight.
We are very happy to have made so many friends over the last three years. You are all great!

We are cheating here a bit because we had a different award a while back which we had to tell six facts about ourselves, so we have put the same facts again plus a seventh one.

Seven Things about us:

1. Flynn:When I am being scritched above the base of my tail. I get a snake's tongue. It flicks in and out really fast.

2. Eric:When I get back scritches I bite my feet and legs cuz I get so excited.

3. Both of us will only drink from the bath tap or rain puddles. The only bowl we drink from is our outdoor bowl cuz it has rainwater in it.

4. Neither of us will drink milk. We came from a farm where there were lots of cows, but milk is yuk. We won't drink cat milk either or eat cream.

5. We don't like human food much. We may eat a tiny bit of steak or shrimp, but we prefer Stinky Goodness or crunchies. We will not eat raw meat at all unless it is mousie.

6. We both love water. We paddle in it, sit in it, play in it. I (Eric) like to get in the bath with the Beans too. I lie on their tummies making biscuits, and let my paws and tail float in the water.

7. Flynn: Sometimes when we are in the fields I am so intent on catching a mousie that I don't see mum and Eric walking on without me. When I suddenly realise they have gone I yell at the top of my lungs until I see them again.
