Evening Strolls..
Eric: While the weather is hotter, it is too hot to walk far during the day so mum takes us out later in the evening when it is nice and cool.The smells all seem stronger and more interesting then.
Flynn: It is nice to just sit and enjoy the cool freshness.
Eric: The water in the horse troughs tastes better too.
Flynn: Yup, we enjoy going out when it is nearly dark. It is a mancatly thing to do.

You are good at watching and patrolling your place! You can see varmints better in the dark!
You are both so very lucky! We are only allowed out in daylight AND under close snoopervision - 'cos we live on the outskirts of a town just 4 minutes walk from the sea shore (and sometimes tourists park in our road and Mom worries we might get in a car). Alfie is particularly prone to exploring where he shouldn't!
Night patrols are my favorite, and in the summer I stay out and play with my other friends for hours.

Things look different when they are in the dark...even stuff you see all the time in the daylight...so it's like a new adventure going out then!

VERY mancatly, indeed! I agree: Evening is one of the best times of day. Grace & Company's predecessors loved the evenings and nights outdoors the best, even when we lived in that hot ol' desert (near Palm Springs). Crazy!!

I am not allowed outside much anymore, and never at night. But that is OK with me!
You two mancats get to have lots of fun! We don't get to stay out much once it starts getting dark...and now, it's getting too hot even in the evening time. We wish it would cool down a bit.

I have never been Outside after dark, not even once! It does seem like a very mancatly thing to do. I might be too scairted.
The only time we are allowed out after dark is if Mom is hold us. We are never allowed to explore like you.

My kitties agree with you Eric and Flynn. Domino and Dylan like to go out at night now that it is very hot, here, as well. Of course the water tastes better when it's cooler -- if you're going to have hot water you might as well make tea!
Anyway, you're so lucky to have snoopervised night walks like that. Your Mom and Dad must love you very much.
Looks very nice. We're looking forward to some evening time in our cat yard this weekend.
Mom and my Daddy go out later like that but I am not allowed to. I keep hearing things like "you do not stay where you are supposed to" but I do not know what that means.
It is better to go out in the evening when it is hot out, you two always look so cute.
