This week the flashback comes from May 2012 and is called:
Fevvers v Nip!
Eric: I'm watching fevvers.
It's very interesting, but Flynn would rather play.
His mousies have been marinated in valerian. I'd rather nap.
Look at the silly boy!
I am joining Athena the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.
I used the last photo and as usual I used Lunapic and started with Scribble reduced to 25%, followed by Floating at 35%. Then I finished with Sadness which I also reduced to 25%.
I also put the photo into the Deep Dream Generator with the Renoir filter but didn't like the result. It looked too dark to me.
Rather than just scrap the picture I went back to Lunapic and added my old favourite, Landscape at 85% to brighten it up.....but I still don't like it!
Of course there is also a puzzle.

Your art is totally gorgeous and those boys were sure having fun!
ReplyDeleteEvery kitteh does have his own preferences.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd go for the valerian mousies too!
ReplyDeletewe love your cat towers... that is like having a castle in the house... why we have no dog towers?
ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn had a really GREAT place to play or spy and plenty of room to pursue their own fun OR be together! It's lots of fun to play with Lunapic and other programs to jazz up photos with effects and we like the way this one turned out.....but then we like EVERY photo of the boys no matter what.
ReplyDeleteLove, Teddy (and Mom)
Nap ... get high ... who can choose?
ReplyDeleteOh my Angels what a fun and beautiful post and such a nice tree too
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia

Mousie marinated in nip...I have to do that with my mousies too instead of myself...MOL😹Very sweet postie, Angels Eric and Flynn. Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteThose are good pictures but we like the first one the best. Eric and Flynn did have a good time. You all take care.
ReplyDeleteSuch precious memories. Kitties are the very best.
ReplyDeleteI'll swing by later and do the puzzle. I've got a lot on my plate this morning.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

ReplyDeleteHmmmm, most of the cats at my house would choose the ‘nip, but EnigmaSissyCat would go for fevvers.
ReplyDeleteI like all the art, but I think the last one is my favorite of the three.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun memories of The Boys ! Thanks for sharing,
ReplyDeleteI love these flashbacks. And I love the puzzles too :) XO
ReplyDeleteNice climbing set up you guys have!
ReplyDeletePurrs & Head Bonks,
Oliver
That was fun going through all the artsy effects! - Tom x
ReplyDeleteWe have ta admit that deciding between watching birdies an playing with Nippy Mousies would be hard. So, of course, we would eventually do BOTH...
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean? I LOVE the last one. At first I thought the first was best but the last is my fave and Flynn looks all nipped up on the floor.
ReplyDeleteEach to his own, eh, boys?
ReplyDeleteWe also like the first art picture the best.
ReplyDeleteDecisions, decisions! Those boys had such a hard life...NOT!
Purrs,
The Chans
Ahh, more wonderful memories and fun, beautiful artwork. We're just getting back into the swing of things after a somewhat tiring move, and dad says he's looking forward to playing around with Lunapic some more. Thanks for the beautiful flashback.
ReplyDeleteWoW! Is Flynn ever valarian-ed out! I bet the last picture is what it looked like to him! What a great shot of the boys. Mom was all gooey...
ReplyDeleteWe actually liked all of the pictures. They were all beautiful! Ant the puzzle was fun! BTW we wwent and made Ninja's art into a puzzle this morning.

I like the boys no matter what they decide on for effects! Smoochies to your sweet memories, boys.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun day - the art captures it so beautifully - all three versions are so nicely done.
ReplyDeleteWe agree that the furrst picture is the best.
ReplyDeleteWe also LOVE the idea of mousies marinated in nip (mol)!
Love all those art pics!
ReplyDeletePurrs xx
Athena and Marie
I love how inseparable they were!
ReplyDeleteWatching fevers, playing and napping are all very important things to do!!
ReplyDeletePurrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
We're loving your artwork today. :)
ReplyDeleteThose memories are so much fun ... Flynn playing in that last photo made us smile real big.
Valerian-marinated mousies are the best thing in the world! Well, except maybe for silvervine. And good nip. Ha ha ha. The Human's off to do the puzzle!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun memory! We love cat art photos 1 and 3. Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great cat tree jungle you boys had!
ReplyDeleteWe do like the second picture a lot but would be happy with all three, each for different moods. Well a nip flavoured bird would be fun, but failing that a stuffed mouse comes close. Either way you guys look well happy . . . if tad stoned, MOL

Hi efurrybuddy: Just popping in to say hello and the Human says that maybe this weekend she will try to learn how to make a picture into a puzzle! She knows how on jigidi, but not on this site. Cheers
ReplyDeleteOooh! Valarian! We got some once. Dad said it stunk up the house, and not in a good way. But we loooved it!
ReplyDeleteI love how you change up the photos.
