This week the flashback comes from September 2012 and is called:
The Badger Hole
Flynn: I'm taking a walk in the field but dad has gone to look at something. I wonder what it is.
Wow! Who put this big pile of earth in the middle of the field?
I am sniffing to see if there are any clues.
There is a deep hole here which wasn't here before. Dad said a badger has dug it out. I better keep guard on it.
Eric: I better see what Flynn and dad have found.
I wonder if I can see anything in here.
Huh! Mum won't let me look in there so I will rub my smell onto the earth instead.
Oops! I rolled over. Never mind, rolling in the earth will make my fur nice and soft.
I am joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the Feline Friday blog hop.

Those boys were the greatest explorers!
Oh, i hope the badger didn't cause any trouble after that.
I had no idea badgers could be so ... productive! You boys were brave to check it out!
Wow, I can tell that badger wuz busy!
Did you ever get tos see that badger?? He/she sure made a deep hole! Like a cave, wowee!
Sorry, We have been lax in visiting lately...
amazing that badgers can nearly do a kind of eurotunnel over night ;O)
I wouldn't want to get near anything involving badgers!
Those pesky badgers what a liberty LOL @ Eurotunnel
Nothing like a roll over
Have an artistictastic weekend :-)
You just can't beat a good roll on freshly dug earth. You guys sure have your work cut out for you, what with all that acreage. No wonder you need to have naps, MOL
Awesome two jigsaws this week, very hard with that colouring!
WOW! I've never seen a badger hole but they sure do make a big mess don't they. New freshly turned earth is too tempting to stay away from though. I'm a dirt boy myself so can appreciate rolling around and leaving my scent. Maybe the badger will get the idea he's NOT ALONE!
That sure looks like a fun hole to explore. But glad you didn't try to mess with those badgers. You all have a super day.
What a fun flashback. You have to watch out for critters. Love the artwork too.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥
So lovely to be able to enjoy the outdoors! Off to play puzzle...thanks!
Cute & Cute! Hope the badger didn't stick his head out of the hole. Glad your kitties had fun exploring! <3
Whew glad you didn't meet up with Mr Badger! Great artwork!!!
A great Flashback Friday memory. You just wanted to go inside and visit the badger. But you had the right idea to just roll around on the earth. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful upcoming weekend.
World of Animals
Lucky for everyone that badger was not home or sleeping!

Nothing like a roll-around with Mother Earth!
Yep, a good dirt roll is a wonderful thing.
You two sure found a wonderful thing to explore. Good job getting cat scent on the dirt
Those badgers must be really big doods to dig a hole that big! Glad you didn't crawl in to check it out!
We always love reading about the boys' adventures!
It looks like badgers are busy workers. Glad you didn't meet up with one.
Thanks for TWO puzzles!
The Florida Furkids
Those boys sure had lots to keep them busy!
I love reading of Eric and Flynn's adventures together. Thank you for two puzzles :) I am off to do them. XO
It's so good seeing them together out in the fields having fun. Their spirit lives on.
Good thing you didn't fall into the "rabbit" hole, guys.
We remember that badger hole.
Flynn and Eric were such intrepid explorers! We sure are glad that badger did not come out to greet the boys. :)
I'm glad the boys' dad was there to keep an eye on them. An annoyed badger is dangerous.
Another fun outing! My cats wouldn't know what to do with themselves and all that dirt!
We were waiting to see the badger, but what a big hole he dug! That rascal could do a lot of damage. Fun adventure, definitely! - Tom x
Boys, I will wager your mom and dad did their best of the best to keep you boys away from badgers. They can be a very tough customer.
Wow! I've never seen anything like that! I didn't know badgers could dig that much!
