This flashback comes from February 2013 and is called:
Another Day, Another Mouse.
Flynn: I am looking for a mouse.
Eric: Are you having any luck there Flynn?
Flynn: Not yet, but I hear him scuttling around.
Flynn: Not so fast Mr Mouse, I am inviting you for dinner.
Eric: Flynn gave me the mouse and I just started to nom it when dad took it away from me. Not fair!!
He said it wasn't a good idea to eat it while I am not feeling so good.
I suppose I will just have to catch one as well then.
Come out Mr Mousie, I know you are in there.
Huh! Looks like I am out of luck.
Maybe Flynn will get me another one without dad seeing.

So nice to invite Mr. Mouse to dinner! 😹
ReplyDeleteThat was just terrific mousing, but they really were wonderful mousers!
ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn were some great mouse hunters. Plus working as a team will make the catch easier. Thanks for sharing the flashback photos. Have a great day.

No mouse was safe from those two handsome boys!
ReplyDeleteAngel Eric, your dad was only looking out for your best interests, even if it seemed unfair. You two meant the world to your humans!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the boys had better luck the next time!
ReplyDeleteoh we agree... humans are so greedy and they want all our mice ... that's really mice-rable...
ReplyDeleteWell done boys..! :).
ReplyDeleteI think pussy~cats are always very polite
when eating mice..They! They! 'always' eat
them head first..Bless!xx
We love that Flynn share his mousie with you, Eric. Those humans ... always ruining all our fun!
ReplyDeleteSO cute that Flynn would catch a mouse and allow Eric to enjoy it as a snack - at least until Dad came along! Such handsome boys and the closest of close brothers!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam and Teddy
These boys were so cute together. I sincerely enjoy following this page and looking back on these memories (which are actually new to me). It inspires me to take more pictures of my cat babies.
ReplyDeleteIf at first you don't succeed ... try, try again (when Dad is not around!)
ReplyDeleteGet out of our domain mouse lol aww!
ReplyDeleteHave a squeaktastic weekend :-)
That was a good hunt even if Dad interfered. Most Beins dont unnerstand how many mousies there are out there. They would be all in the houses if not for us.
ReplyDeleteThe boys were primo mousers!! Thanks for the puzzle...13:01.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Such wonderful memories. They are most dear.

Those boys were the best at mousing.
ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn share their trophies. Excellent. The last mouse Shoko caught she shared with Budd. They spent a long time starring and batting it but it was stil alive so dad put it in a neighbours yard.

Oh the photo you selected for Caturday art was my favorite in the series. Eric and Flynn look as if they are having a board meeting to discuss strategy.

Thank you for you very kind words about my 'obsession' of quilting. I'm currently working on a wall hanging for a young friend's 18th bday in November.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love, Deborah
ReplyDeleteBoys! Seeing you in those hats...too MUCH! If I ever have boy cats again I hope they are like you.
ReplyDeleteJulie is the mouse catcher here, but only if they are silly enough to get inside(usually from the porch. She likes to play with them, but mum also takes them away and sends them back outdoors. Humans are no fun sometimes!
ReplyDeletePurrs,Georgia,Julie and JJ
Those mousies were never safe with you guys on the hunt!
ReplyDeleteHumans are such party poopers.
ReplyDeleteThey sure were good mousie hunters. Thank you for the beautiful puzzle. And thank you for the kind words you left on my blog for Noel. XO
ReplyDeleteAs well fed as you were by your parents, i would think you would be too full to want a mouse. Maybe it was dessert, i guess.
ReplyDeleteI think that shmousy would have made you feel all better. I think the pic where you're nomming the shmousy would have made great art.
ReplyDeleteToo bad you couldn't keep that mousie snack...
ReplyDeleteDalton was not happy either after petcretary took his mouse/mole away.
Some days the humans are right, and we shouldnt snack between meals. But a nice plum mouse is hard to resist. I've not had one for a bit, but then it has poured down the last few days/week so I'm not too bothered.

Now that's the spirit, angel Flynn, sharing your mousies with angel Eric is real brotherhood💗
ReplyDeletePawkisses for a wonderful weekend🐾😽💞

We love how your art always looks like a real painting!
ReplyDeleteWe're so good at catching those varmints that really aren't good for us, I guess. Good for sport, tho! - Tom x
ReplyDeleteThe boys were the best mouse hunters. Thanks for the great flashback!
ReplyDeleteThat was a bit mean of your Dad to take the mouse away from you, Eric, but he must have thought it was for the best. Did Flynn get you another one in the end?
ReplyDeleteAngels Eric and Flynn sure were good at catching those snacks ... er, um, we mean mousies! :)

ReplyDeleteyour boys were the BEST mousey catchers I have EVER known!! Thank you for your sweet Rosh Hashanah greeting! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWe have never been allowed to nom any mousies. Not even bugs, although sometimes one enters our house and then, all bets are off.
