Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

This flashback comes from February 2013 and is called:
Another Day, Another Mouse.

Flynn:  I am looking for a mouse.

Eric:  Are you having any luck there Flynn?

Flynn:  Not yet, but I hear him scuttling around.

Flynn:  Not so fast Mr Mouse, I am inviting you for dinner.

Eric:  Flynn gave me the mouse and I just started to nom it when dad took it away from me. Not fair!!
He said it wasn't a good idea to eat it while I am not feeling so good.

I suppose I will just have to catch one as well then.

Come out Mr Mousie, I know you are in there.

Huh! Looks like I am out of luck.
Maybe Flynn will get me another one without dad seeing.

Eric's Day Flashback - Another Busy Day.

This week the flashback comes from October 2010 and is called:

Another Busy Day.

We are out taking mum for her walk. The grass has grown long again so it is fun to stalk through it.

We are listening for mousies. We have to make the most of it before winter when they all go to bed and don't often come out to play with us.

Eric: That talk of bed has made me feel tired. I am going back home.

Flynn: Okay, I will stay here for a while and see if I can catch anything.

Eric: All that walking has exhausted me. I need my beauty sleep.

Flynn: Typical! He leaves me to do all the work. At least that's another mousie I won't have to share with him.

Eric's Day Flashback - Another Successful Day and Happy Birthday Mo.

Happy Birthday Mo! Thank you for all you do keeping the Cat Blogosphere up and running.

This week the flashback comes from March 2010 and is called:

Another Successful Day.

This is where mum's best most favourite horse, Mr. Who is buried. We like coming to his grave because there are lots of mouseholes there.

They have made the ground soft where they burrow and I whap with my paw to feel where they are.

Success!

Mum tells me she would rather I didn't eat them, but very often I do.

After that it was time to go back home.

The sun came out again and made our furrs look much brighter ginger. Eric decided to sit in the sun for a while.


Then mum called us and told us it was suppertime, so off we went again.

We went on ahead of mum so we would have time to sniff the gate before we went in.

An introoder cat comes around outside our purrison fence and poops by the gate, and he doesn't even cover!

Then we sit and wait for mum to catch up.
Hurry up mum! All this walking has given us an appetite.
