Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

This week the flashback comes from December 2007.  I had just finished taking out the old summer bedding and dug the soil over  to rest through the winter.
The boys couldn't resist fresh soil, so this is:
Playtime!

Hehe I'm creeping up on Eric and he doesn't know.

Oh yes I do!! I'm watching you.

It's fun to play in the earth.

Yep great fun.

Yer right Eric, I'm going to play in it too.

This is good fun, and we can take nice muddy pawprints indoors to make patterns on the floor.

Wheeeeee look at that leaf. I'm going to catch it.

My Random Photo this week was chosen by the Trout Towne Tabbies who asked for 23.03.12
All the photos I have on that date are of just Eric. We kept a big dish outdoors to catch the rainwater for the boys to drink. Eric always had to stand in it with his front feet when drinking, and sometimes his back feet followed!

I used the second photo and cropped it a bit, then used Scribble at 50%, then Flow at 20%
I also put it into Deep Dream Generator light style, then added one of my favourite filters, Flow at 20%.

  10. What gloriously cute photos of the boys playing in the dirt! Teddy quite enjoys loose soil - he hops around like a maniac digging holes. The cooler weather brings out the kitten in him too. Your boys always had such fun together didn't they!!

    Hugs, Pam

  19. Youknow, if we had fresh turned soil like that here, we would be helping Mom turn it over a bit more, and in the process some of that soil might get a wee bit displaced:)

  21. The Human isn't very good at them, but she likes to do the puzzles. She's going to try the first one tonight and see if she can finish it before tomorrow, LOL.

  22. We love the effects you added to the picture. Chimera stands on her water dish. We haven't figured out why, she is the only cat that does it.

  26. What fun! There is, indeed, nothing like digging in the dirt.

  27. I'm surprised they don't dig in it like a fresh litter box.

  29. Excellent images of your angel kitties!
And thanks for the puzzles; I will play them directly.
These remind me of this morning, while I was watering the garden before breakfast. The PO'M came along, I thought, to inspect my work...however he just wanted to use the freshly watered soil for...er, um...his purrsonal use! OH!

  32. Playtime in the dirt must've been fun for the boys, but y'know what I would've been doing in it?

    ReplyDelete
  33. That's do great when you can capture very cute moments!

  34. Very cute playtime in the garden. I like fresh soil, too, but try as I might to bury some "seeds," I can never get them to grow..hehehe - Tom x

  35. Looking at these pix reminds the Human of her black and white long-haired kitty Fluffy she had as a child growing up. Fluffy's fave thing was rolling in the garden dirt, and she was often very dirty, LOL. But she had a good time!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wow, we dont remember THAT one! Ah the interest in freshly-turned soil...

    ReplyDelete
  37. I LOVE seeing those two out there in the turned earth...enjoying the day and having fun! They look so dear.

  38. Hmmm ... we thought Eric was the pouncer ... but Flynn was DEFINITELY set to pounce.
