Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

The flashback this week is a short one and comes from February 2008 and was an Easy Like Sunday.

This is a small pony stable but there is no-one living in it at the moment. Dad brings over some hay and straw furrom the big barn and puts it here ready furr when the horsies need it. there is a skylight in the roof that lets the sun shine in, so it is a good place to take it easy on Sundays and efurry other day of the week.
Sometimes when we are sitting here we can hear a mousie in the straw so we haf to watch and listen. We can't yooshully get them because the straw is on pallets, and the mousies go unner the pallets where we can't get at them. If we sit very kwiet and patient, sumtimes they come out cuz they don't know we are still there. Then POW!!! we get them. Bwahaha!

The random photo this week has been chosen by Timmy Tomcat and family. They asked for 8th October so this one is from 2011.

I am joining Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art and have used this photo and the one above.

I have used Beauty at 45% followed by Scribble at 25%.

For this one I started with Seuratpose at 40% ,then Sadness at 20%.

Being able to sit as quiet as a mouse, or even quieter, has its perks!

You two sure had fun catching mousies!

Love the flashback. We think it was just so very special that the Angel Brothers were so very very close. Best buddies and pals (and hunters!).

That hay barn must have been a nice spot to snooze. My Phoebe used to love to eat hay. Beautiful art. Thank you for the puzzles. XO

They're so cute together on the straw. TW used to have a BF who'd climb to the top of the hay like the boys are and shoot the mice. Maybe that's how TW became a serial killer.

John Bellen said...

It was a good place for mice - and probably very comfy, too.

You guys get all the best places to nap. I asked Mrs H if Icould have straw bales in the bedroom and you should have heard what she said! Not least was the mess it would cause. MOL
Mrs H has added the links to UK Amazon for you on our sunday selfie post, so all should be well for that kindle book of the latest MMU mystery, Book 4.
Purrs to all
