This week the flashback features Eric and comes from April 2008.
There I was just lying on the patio table........ lazing around in the sun like you do.......
When suddenly I heard a noise.
Yes I can definitely hear something in the hedge.
It's going upwards.
It's nearly at the top. I wonder if I would get into trouble if I climb the hedge to investigate.
Ok I won't leave you all wondering what's happening. Mr and Mrs Blackbird have got a nest in there and mum says I have to leave it alone. I'll bide my time. You can't always be watching me mum.
As Eric had the post this week Flynn gets the random photo.
The Trout Towne Tabbies asked for 27.06.14. It didn't matter how hot it was, Flynn always liked to sleep in the greenhouse. It must have been too hot for his plant pot though.

I am also joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the blog hop.
That was fun managing that hedge fund and the art is so good!
ReplyDeleteWell, i would stay away from bird parents, they can be fierce.
ReplyDeleteThat greenhouse looks like the best place for a snooze.
I hope the birdies were able to steer clear!
ReplyDeleteBirds can get rather nasty if they are defending a nest! The robins here scold our pups a lot, even when they are just passing by...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the puzzles! The greenhouse really got brightened up with the art effects.
we are in da blackbird club too ;O)
ReplyDeleteMy most favourite photos
ReplyDeletewere of the boys in their
pots..! Bless! :).
Your flashbacks always make me smile :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the art versions too quite clever
Have a flashbacktastic weekend 👍
Sweet flashback with your well-behaved Angel Eric. Angel Flynn sure looks like he picked the best spot for napping.
ReplyDeleteWe love your flashbacks, it's always wonderful to see them both. And you do such a terrific job with the artwork! Paws up from Derry! :-)
ReplyDeleteHey my darlin' gingers. I giggled at the hangovers of paws and a head.
ReplyDeleteLooks like there is an intruooder lurking in the hedges. Oh I have some mighty fine photos of our friend's kitty Charlie aka Sir Charles. He belonged to folks down the street but they were bad owners. Charlie started staying in our fiends carport. He is 100% outdoors only but they did manage to capture him for neutering. And he has gradually become tolerant of an annual trip to the vet for shots
Hugs cecilia
What a fun flashback! Those birds didn't stand a chance with Eric and Flynn on watch.
ReplyDeleteRaz likes to sleep hanging over like that. Did you ever get that birdie???
ReplyDeleteThanks for the puzzles!
The Florida Furkids
Eric how interesting that you have that Blackbird family right there so you can keep an eye on things. Your Mom knows that she needs to keep an eye on you both MOL
ReplyDeleteFlynn that looks like a great snooze spot and really pretty art my friend
Mum can't be watching all the time. You were right about that. That made me smile. What a hot place to nap though.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥
Funny that Angel Flynn liked to sleep there!
ReplyDeleteOff to puzzle; thanks!
What a great series of shots! Must've been so hard for him to leave the nest alone.
ReplyDeleteLeave the birds alone! How nice it would be to have a greenhouse to visit and sleep inside!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these stories, photos, and art! I so enjoy them! :) <3
ReplyDeleteThose pics are great. Once again I love your artwork.
ReplyDeleteYou boys certainly warm the cockles of my heart. I thank your Mom for sharing you. Love your artwork! Jean
ReplyDeleteHedge watching is an art!
ReplyDeleteSome noises are VERY hard to ignore!! Love all the photos as always....the Greenhouse is a snuggy place for a snooze.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
It was probably a good idea to listen to the peeps and stay away from those baby birds and parents - the big ones can be nasty sometimes.
ReplyDeleteWe love your art - you always have such beautiful works.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Those boys were just so darling and special.
ReplyDeleteI love those shots of Eric following Mr and Mrs Blackbird through the hedge. Flynn in the greenhouse is always a purrfect photo! I love seeing Eric and Flynn!

ReplyDeleteLovely art and memories. Yeah, my mum always tells me to leave the birds alone too!
ReplyDeletewe have some robins having babies in the bush near my porch and I think all my kitties are also planning to bide their time!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, did Eric ever get one of those burds? Axing for a furrend. We had a mourning dove visit this week. I slept thru it.
ReplyDeleteThat flashback is so great. We love how Eric was sitting on the edge of the table, watching for those birds.
ReplyDeletethank catness you left the birdie alone! For some reason it said my comment was published (before I sent this)...if I accidentally hit anything, I apologize! xoxo
ReplyDeleteStupendous artwork, boys! We also liked the pic of Eric with his beautiful dangling paws...
ReplyDeleteI hope Eric left the nest alone!
